Too early for surgery right now
Aug 17, 2018
Too early for surgery right now.Your nose looks very swollen and it might be too early to tell what he did. I would expect you to have some changes, however you should wait another 2-3 months before deciding that this would not work. If you nose however does not change you will certainly need a revision surgery to make the tip much smaller and the nostrils less wide.
8 mo. post composite FL. I felt more attractive & confident pre-op. Is revision w/same dr. good idea if
If there is no confidence surgery should not be undertaken with same doctor
Feb 24, 2018
Based on your pictures I can understand why you are unhappy. People heal differently and scarring can occur. The biggest shoe you have to determine in order to decide whether you are going to have her operate on you is do you still have confidence. Once a patient loses confidence in their physician the likelihood of a good outcome is near zero. I would get other opinions in your area and if you feel or they feel that they can improve your results I would then talk to your doctor again. If ...
Reasons why the right side of my face slightly droops?
Botox not appropriate for your issue
Feb 20, 2018
You have obvious asymmetry in your face. When you have fillers it makes it more evident. Botox is not indicated for your problem. I think you need to have either a more experienced injector or more filler in the asymmetry that you have.
I’m 5 months post op in rhinoplasty but my nostrils are completely different from each other what shoul
Definitely do Not inject silicone
Feb 3, 2018
Your asymmetric nostrils may be due to swelling or poor planning by your surgeon. It may be due to the fact that you already had some asymmetry before your surgery and it’s now more obvious. Before you inject silicone ( Not FDA approved) into your nose, I recommend you see a facial plastic or plastic surgeon for a second opinion.
Does this need a revision? My nose seems warped. When is the soonest I can consider a revision?
Wait for revision, but it appears you’ll need it
Jan 31, 2018
It is not advisable  to undergo a revision so quickly. I would say you should wait at least 6 to 9 months. Although I do not believe your problem will go away with time if you are going to have a revision you should make sure that it addresses all your concerns. Your tip is swollen and is rounder than it might be once the swelling goes down. Your bones however are definitely deflected. It appears that you had a complete osteotomy (nasal bone fracture) on the right side but not on the le...
Do I need a facelift already at 29 years old?
Many options other than a facelift for a 29 year old
Jan 30, 2018
If you don’t like the area around your neck there are many other options other than a facelift. You can have facial lipo-suction with neck lipo-suction. If you have extra skin you could have a bit of the skin removed from underneath the chin. If you’re not ready for surgery you could have Ultherapy or coolsculpting, it is a procedure that tightens your skin and reduces the fat.  In addition you could use Kybella  to reduce the fat underneath your neck.
Do you do Botox for the under eye area?
Botox has limited use under the eye
Jan 29, 2018
Botox is a great product to use for wrinkles around the eyes. It is used to give brow elevation and to get rid of wrinkles between the eyes. Botox has very limited used for under the eyes. If you have bags and  use  Botox, you may increase  the size of the bags because the muscle relaxes and the fat pushes out. Botox is primarily used for the four head in the area where the crows feet are.
Nose job recovery fears: Do most Doctors prescribe steroids to minimize swelling?
Steroid injections for no surgery or not stand
Jan 28, 2018
Not every doctor uses steroids during and after rhinoplasty. You should pick your doctor based on his or her results not on how they  do the procedure.I rarely ever put patients on steroids.I do not use packing. Most of my patients can breathe out of your nose immediately and improve weekly there after. Your primary concern should be finding  a board-certified facial plastic surgeon or  plastic surgeon who can give you your desired results.
38 with premature aging. I've got eye bags, sunken eyes, facial fat loss and prominent wrinkles around
If you’re asking a question listen to the answers!
Jan 27, 2018
I understand what you don’t want, but if you want to ask a question you should listen to the answers. For you, wrinkles around the eyes are best treated with Botox. Dysport can also be used for that problem.  Your pictures are not clear but if you have bags under your eyes with a depression ,you may need to use a filler such as a Hyaluronic acid such as  Restylane,Voluma or Juvederm. If however this would not help, you may require surgery. This can be done without outside incisio...
Synkinesis in the Bay Area? I have slight facial paralysis due to my brain not developing normally.
Botox great for facial asymmetry
Jan 25, 2018
Botox is a neurotoxin  that weakens  or paralyzes muscles. Over the last 20 years I have been using Botox to even out peoples faces with synkinesis secondary to bells palsy. While in may not completely correct the asymmetry it certainly helps. It last for approximately three months. When initially injecting botox it may take one or two sessions to get the symmetry completely corrected,if possible.
Weight loss after recent facelift?
Lose weight before your facelift not after!
Jan 25, 2018
That’s a very good question. You should lose weight before your surgery as if you lose weight after you may compromise the results. When you lose weight you lose Facial fat and your skin may become more lax. It is imperative that you try to do the weight-loss prior to surgery. If however you are going to lose weight I would do it over a long period of time and not more than 5 to 10 pounds.
Can my broken nose be fixed?
Nasal fracture can be fixed with surgery
Jan 21, 2018
From your picture and your description it appears that you fractured your nose. This is a very common problem that can be corrected with surgical intervention. When choosing a physician you must pick a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who specializes in nasal surgery. Your “simple” surgery can be very successful by choosing the right position or it can be a nightmare when you don’t.
Hooded eyelids and high brow: I have asymmetrical hooded eyelids that makes me look wrinkly, droopy and
Great candidate for upper lid blepharoplasty
Jan 21, 2018
Looking at your picture I see asymmetric upper eyelids. You are an ideal candidate to have this surgically repaired. If you do not want surgery you may fix it with Botox injection in an asymmetric pattern. Either one of those will work, however the surgery will be more permanent. Pick a facial plastic surgeon, oculoplastic surgeon, or plastic surgeon who is very experienced with eyelid surgery.
Does partial turbinectomy disqualify me from having coblation done in the future?
Turninates may grow back
Jan 4, 2018
If you have had a partial turbinectomy and continue to have trouble breathing or have ecently noted that you have trouble breathing you may be a candidate fof cauterization.  If you have tendency to be allergic it is possible that you turbinates can grow back. If this happens cauterizaríon or coblation May be done. In order to avoid this problem, I will frequently outfracture the turbinates so that even if they do grow back the airway is still good enough to breathe well.
What is the best method to fix my undereye bags?
Best way to treat under eye bags
Dec 31, 2017
I believe that the best  and most cost efficient treatment for under eye bags  his surgery. There is certainly many things that you could do to make the eyes look better with fillers. Because I am a facial plastic surgeon I can do both fillers and surgery.  Your question was the most cost efficient way to improve your eyes and to me surgery is the best approach. You would need a trans conjunctival blepharoplasty ( incision on the inside ).  Blepharoplasty is one of those operations that once...
