As you will hear from most plastic surgeons, it is almost always a good idea to wait a full 1 year after rhinoplasty before considering any touch-up or revision procedures. I think there is still a very good chance that the symmetry of this area of your nose will improve in the next 5-6 months. If there remains such dimpling of the infra-tip after one year, it could be possible to inject a minimal amount of filler in this small asymmetry. Good question!

I think it is best to ‘reduce the wrinkle’ with Botox before ‘filling the crease’ with filler. A great example occurs at the glabella which is the area of our forehead between our eyebrows. As physicians we continue to treat the muscles of the glabella with Botox which results in smoothing of the ‘number 11’s’. In some patients, this crease is so deep that even with Botox there is still a line patients don’t like. This is a great line to treat with a product like Restylane. A…
