Skin stretched from too much Juvederm?
Too much cheek?
Aug 12, 2015
I am not aware of any scientific study showing that permanent stretching can result from the over injection of Juvederm, or any other hyaluronic acid filler. However, my educated opinion is that Juvederm is not "firm" enough to stretch the skin permanently. In other words the gel like nature of Juvederm would not lend itself to permanent stretching. When over injection occurs with Juvederm or any other hyaluronic acid filler there is a simple remedy to dissolve the filler. An injection...
I'm 24 year old with fighting with acne. What should I do?
Whatever it takes....
Aug 12, 2015
I would first suggest you try topical prescription acne medications such as one of the topical retinoids and a topical antibiotic. If cystic acne persists after using these topical medicines for 2-4 weeks, one of the oral antibiotics commonly used to treat acne can be added to your regimen. If these measures fail then a second course of Roaccutane can be considered. Of course a board certified dermatologist should direct these treatments.
Tattoo excision on my right arm for four roses. How much do you think it will be to get them re
Diamonds are forever, but not tattoos...
Aug 5, 2015
If you are truly committed to removing the roses in your tattoo, a laser would be the technique of choice to begin with. In general I would begin with a "test" treatment of a small area in each of the colored roses to determine how your tattoo responds to treatment. Depending on the results of the test it would be possible to give an estimation of the number of treatments required. The surgical term excision is used to describe the cutting out the entire skin, which usually leaves an...
What can I do to fix my face? Botox, cheek implant, fillers?
Personal best!
Jul 28, 2015
My compliments on your photoshop technique. It is important to keep in mind that almost no one is perfectly symmetrical and slight asymmetries and may even enhance a person's appearance. That said, the problems you observe can be corrected by Botox for the eyebrow and filler for the cheek. You should consult with a board certified dermatologist, or plastic surgeon to determine which type of filler to start with.
What is this and how do I treat it?
Time to act!
Jul 28, 2015
The lesions on your chest appear to be cysts. Some look inflammatory others are structural, or epithelial. Cysts are often treated with a combination of removal by the physician and medications. Epithelial cysts generally do not disappear on their own. Board certified dermatologists with surgical experience are able to treat these lesions.
How fast can this fresh tattoo come off?
Say ta ta to your tattoo
Jul 23, 2015
You can begin treatment within a week after having a tattoo, if you have a change of heart about it. Treatments are usually spaced at least a month apart. Therefore, if your tattoo requires three treatments it will take approximately three months to remove, if it requires five treatments it will take approximately five months, and so forth you should consult with a board certified dermatologist who has experience removing tattoos.
Want treatment for this acne! What is the best treatment?
Make lemonade with lemons
Jul 23, 2015
Acne is very common in your age group. There are a number of over the counter skin care products, that are worth trying before seeking a treatment by a dermatologist. We have found, that a twice daily regimen of cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing can be beneficial. Especially if products chosen for your skin type are used. This regimen formed the basis for very successful Clinique three step skin care regimen. The addition of Benzoyl Peroxide can benefit cystic acne. There is no evidence...
