Answer Snippet
8 yrs later -should I get another lower bleph?
Lower Blepharoplasty
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your photos and question. From these pictures alone, I would most likely recommend revision lower eyelid blepharoplasty with a small but appropriate amount of skin removal. It would certainly not be wrong to try minimally invasive treatments first like resurfacing with either a chemical peel or laser.
Ptosis revision surgery: Internal or external ptosis repair?
Ptosis
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photos. I would strongly recommend an in-person consultation with an oculoplastic surgeon, but from the photos that you posted, the levator function is somewhat diminished on the droopier side. You can see this moose clearly in the picture where you are looking up. This would lead me to lean in the direction of a levator advancement.
What can I do to lessen the asymmetry in my eye/eyelid?
Ptosis
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. It appears that you have upper eyelid ptosis on both sides, worse on the droopier side. This can be corrected with minimally invasive surgery. Botox can also be helpful in select patients. I would recommend seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon for a consultation.
Can I get a 2nd lower blepharoplasty? If not, What other options ago remove loose skin under eye? (photo
Lower Blepharoplasty
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. I do see the skin redundancy that you're noticing in your lower eyelid. One option might be a removal of some of that extra skin. I would recommend seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon for a consultation.
Repost: Can my eyelid asymmetry be fixed? If so, can it be done without surgery?
Ptosis repair
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. most likely, you could camouflage a lot of the asymmetry by correcting your upper eyelid ptosis. Consider seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon for a consultation. There are some great minimally invasive options.
Droopy Eyelids and Downward Tilted. What can I do to fix this?
Ptosis and lower lid retraction
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and a photo. It appears that you have upper eyelid ptosis on both sides, which is causing your eyelids to appear droopy. You have lower eyelid retraction which is resulting in the lower eyelids being pulled down and away from your eyeball. Both can be corrected. I would recommend seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon for this type of work.
How to treat uneven eye and eyebrow?
Botox
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. If you like your right side, and would like to make a left side a bit lower, thoughtfully placed Botox by an oculoplastic surgeon would be an option. Best of luck!
What procedure do I need to fix my sad eyes?
Canthoplasty with lower eyelid retraction repair
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. I would recommend seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon to discuss it canthoplasty with or without lower eyelid retraction repair to meet your goals. Best of luck!
What type of surgery do I need to fix my eyelashes going into my eyes?
Epiblepharon
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. This common condition is called epiblepharon and is correctable. There are several great oculoplastic surgeons in your area to include Wenjing Liu, Blake Perry, John Paul Aboud, and Omar Ozgur. Best of luck!
What can be done about asymmetrical eyes?
Orbit Asymmetry
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. The asymmetry in your eyeball position is due to asymmetry in the configuration of your orbit (eye socket). Well this can be corrected, it's often better to camouflage the situation instead. Consider seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon to discuss options.
Are my eyes wide or small? Do I have "droopy eyes"? Can I get surgery to fix the length?
Ptosis
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. It appears that you have some upper eyelid ptosis. There are some minimally invasive options to improve the length. Consider seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon for a consultation.
What can be done for wrinkling just over the last third of the outside of the eyebrow?
Thoughtful botox
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. Most likely, the best treatment you would be some thoughtfully placed botox. I would recommend seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon for this type of work. Best of luck!
Is 27 too early for eyelid surgery for droopiness?
Ptosis
Feb 1, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. It looks to me like you have some ptosis. Age is really not the most important determinant factor here, but rather anatomy. I would recommend seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon for this type of work. Best of luck!
How to help my ptosis? Is it even worth getting fixed?
Ptosis
Feb 1, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. I think you would benefit from a ptosis repair, and I do think you would enjoy the results. I would recommend seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon for this type of work. Best of luck!
What should I do about my asymmetric eyes as one of my eyes has been drooping ever since I was born? (Ph
Ptosis
Feb 1, 2021
Thank you for your question and photo. It looks to me like you have some ptosis. there may be a little bit more to the picture though, and an in-person consultation would be very helpful to analyze the dynamic movement of your eyelids. I would recommend an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon for this type of work. Best of luck!
