How to Get Rid of “Angry Look” on my Face?
Botox and brow furrows
Mar 21, 2017
You may be happy to know that Botox was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat the muscles that are causing the furrows between your eyebrows. And since each person is unique, you may only need a Botox treatment every 4 or 5 months to soften those lines and prevent others from mistaking you as “looking angry.” Best of luck!
Can You Exercise After Botox or Will It Decrease the Results?
Wait until morning
Mar 21, 2017
Nice question – I always ask my Botox patients to wait until the next morning to resume exercising in order to allow the Botox to remain in the muscles injected without the body working hard to break it down and metabolize it faster than it already does!
Botox. Why does it only last for 2 months?
The lasting effects of Botox
Mar 21, 2017
Thanks for your question – Botox lasts 3 to 4 months in many people, however, there are some people who exercise regularly or who have a faster metabolism and who notice the effects wearing off more quickly. Two things your doctor may try are 1) increasing the dose you are receiving to the target area you are treating and/or 2) switching to a different formulation.
