thanks for the question
Looking at the pictures, I dont seem much of a bump that would concern me as a physician. If you do notice a change in your nose and you are sure it wasnt broken (it doesnt sound like it). you may have developed some swelling under the injury site and in almost all cases, after a few months it should resolve. It is very rare to stay perminant from and injury like that

The nasal exam in the context of breathing trouble is one of the most complex exams we do. It seems like it should be simple, but it can be pretty complex. Looking at your nose from the bottom reveals just one aspect of nasal obstruction. However, it is pretty obvious that you do have an obstruction on the left. This is likely due to one of 2 things, a medialized Crural Footplate or a caudal septal deviation, or a combination. There are possibly other things happening internally,…

I think generally speaking, all Rhinoplasty surgeons take photos. If someone didn’t take photos prior to surgery for cosmetic rhinoplasty, it would certainly be concerning.
Also, As a Rhinoplasty Surgeon, I always have my primary, secondary and tertiary plan formed well ahead of surgery date. Sometimes small things come up the day of surgery, but almost always, I have my plan formulated and communicated to patients well before the surgery date.
I would certainly recommend…

1) The numbness – This is very common, especially after an open Rhinoplasty. I know patients in which it took over 1 year for this to return to normal. Its certainly best to wait it out. The other issue, is in most situations apart from waiting, there is no treatment for this.
2) Saddle Nose – I don’t see a true saddle nose and I see perhaps, a but of fullness over the bone of your nose. This still may be boney remodeling as…

With this in mind however, it does appear as the tip is twisted to the left. It looks like this is due to a high septal twist, but I may be incorrect due to the photo. I’m not sure filler would be the best option for this as it may not work and is considered a high risk area.
The best…

thanks for the question, asymmetries after a rhinoplasty are one of the most stressful aspects of healing, for both the patient and surgeon. Its really hard to wait for healing to complete, but in some situations we can predict what is likely going to happen.
Based on the photos you provided, there seems to be excess projection of the right lower lateral cartilage (the tip) compared to the left. That gives the impression that the tip is twisted and asymmetrical. sometimes this…

1. Hematoma formation (week 1)- This happens right after you cut the bone. The blood that fills the area around the bone stats the process of healing
2. Fibrocartilaginous callus formation (week 2) – This is when the blood releases chemicals that start the process of forming a…
