Under eye bags after double blepharoplasty getting more noticable - Should it be a concern?
Is my postoperative appearance after eyelid surgery normal?
Jun 14, 2019
Thank you for your question.  All appears to be going well at this point.  I would recommend working closely with your surgeon if you have questions as your wounds continue to heal.  It takes many months for swelling to resolve and wounds to begin to mature.  Best of luck.
How long after upper & lower eye lift will I look bruised & beaten? Decent recovery where I look at l
Recovery after blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) surgery
Jun 14, 2019
Thank you for your question.  I advise most patients that approximately 80% of bruising and swelling resolves after approximately 2 weeks.  Most patients who work take about a week off.You should discuss factors that may affect your recovery with your surgeon.
Why do many celebrities that have had their eyes ‘done’ seem to have smaller eyes afterwards?
Natural appearance after eyelid surgery
Jun 14, 2019
Thank you for your question.  While poorly performed eyelid surgery can lead to an unnatural appearance, there are excellent eyelid surgeons who can produce a natural, youthful outcomes without a telltale "done" look.  The key used to perform the surgical procedure that will best address each patient's needs.  I would strongly recommend seeking surgery with someone who focuses on eyelid rejuvenation.  Best of luck.
Was my ptosis a failure? Permanent results?
Revision upper eyelid surgery
Jun 6, 2019
I am very sorry to hear about  your problems.  It does appear as if improvement in the appearance of the lids could be achieved with revision surgery to adjust the eyelid crease and also to potentially improve the eyelid position.  I strongly recommend seeing a surgeon who has extensive experience performing revision eyelid surgery.  Best of luck!
Would you recommend an upper bleph revision?
revision eyelid surgery
Jun 6, 2019
Thank you for your question.  In some of the photos it appears as if your left upper eyelid is a bit lower than the right.  And others that does not appear to be the case.  I share your concerns about not wanting to become too hollow.I also agree that brow lifting would not be a good idea.without the opportunity to examine you in person it is difficult to make a definitive recommendation for your best options.  I would strongly recommend evaluation by a surgeon who is highly experienced in r...
Do I need eyelid surgery or will tear trough fillers help sunken eyes?
Fillers vs. Surgery
Jun 6, 2019
Thank you for your question.  It appears that you are an excellent candidate for lower eyelid blepharoplasty but optimal outcomes will include soft tissue volume augmentation of your midface as well.  If you are opposed to surgery and wished to camouflage the puffiness in your lower lids, you could explore the options of fillers.  You would need to meet with a physician who has expertise in both the surgical and nonsurgical rejuvenation of the lower eyelids and midface.

Treatment of facial scarring
Apr 26, 2019
Thank you for your question.  I am sorry you have these scars.  A combination approach to scars such as yours is likely to yield best results.  Surgical subcision, laser treatment and injectables may all be options for you.  I would recommend seeing a physician who is highly experienced in the treatment of facial scars to determine the best course of treatment for you.  Best of luck.

Options for treatment of dark circles under the eyes
Apr 8, 2019
Thank you for your question  I appears that you are a candidate for lower eyelid blepharoplasty.  You also may benefit from properly placed soft tissue fillers to camouflage the fullness.  This would not be a permanent solution but would be less costly in the short term.  Best of luck.
Is it normal or permanent to have Brown bruise 3.5 weeks post eye trough filler?
How to treat brown discoloration which appeared after bruising
Apr 8, 2019
I am sorry to hear of your problem.  If the brown discoloration does not clear on its own then laser treatment can be used to improve it.  Usually 1-3 treatments are required for best outcomes. Make sure you are seeing someone who is expert in the treatment of this condition.  Best of luck!
Can Old Scars That Are Still Red Be Treated?
Treatment of Unwanted Scars
Apr 8, 2019
Thank you for your question.  Red scars  typically are responsive to laser treatment irrespective of their age.  A variety of different topical products as well as some injectables can also be used to minimize or eliminate scarring no matter how old the scar may be as long as it is not white and firm.  IPL is not the best treatment for scars but can work in some cases.  I recommend seeing an expert in scar treatment.  Best of luck.
How can I get rid of the redness on my rhinoplasty scar?
Treatment of Red Scars
Apr 8, 2019
Thank you for your question.  Red scars are often highly responsive to laser treatment.  A combination of lasers is sometimes best depending on the thickness of the scar.  Injections with steroids, 5FU and Botox may be helpful as well. I strongly suggest a physician who has extensive expertise in treating scarring.  Best of luck.
Should tight/sore eyelid scars be treated, and what are the options?
Treatment of scarring after eyelid surgery
Apr 8, 2019
Thank you for your question.  Scarring after surgery may be treated in a variety of ways depending on the nature of the scars.  A  laser treatment, topical agents or a combination of both may provide best outcomes.  I strongly recommend seeing your surgeon to discuss your best options.  Best of luck.

Hollowness after blepharoplasty
Apr 8, 2019
I am sorry you did not obtain the results you were hoping for after your eyelid surgery.  It does appear that you would benefit from some volume correction of your eyelids and midface.  It has now been a while since your surgery and any changes that would have taken place should have done so by now.  I strongly suggest evaluation by an oculofacial plastic surgeon to learn what your options are at this time. Best of luck
Under Eye Wrinkle Treatment with Blepharoplasty
Under eye wrinkle treatment with blepharoplasty
Apr 8, 2019
Thank you for your question.  There are several ways to address skin wrinkling at the time of blepharoplasty.  Laser skin resurfacing and chemical peels can both be highly effective.  In my experience, a modified skin resurfacing  procedure provides the best outcomes safely.  I do not find fractional ablative lasers like Fraxel as helpful as some others.  Best of luck.
