Statement: Dr. Stephen M. Krant is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder and medical director of SK Clinic in La Jolla, California. With over 45 years in practice, Dr. Krant has performed thousands of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries for patients in the San Diego area and beyond.

Known for having the utmost attention to detail, Dr. Krant specializes in breast enhancement surgeries, tummy tucks, and mommy makeovers, as well as facelifts, eyelid surgery, and rhinoplasty. Dr. Krant earned his medical degree at Yale University’s School of Medicine. He completed two residencies—the first in general surgery at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, and the second in plastic surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Krant is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

With thorough training in reconstructive plastic surgery in addition to cosmetic work, Dr. Krant is able to provide an even deeper level of care for patients touched by birth defects, injury, or cancer. He frequently performs breast reconstruction surgery on breast cancer survivors, in addition to surgical corrections of deformities.
