Dr. Vartany received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He then moved to California where he completed a residency in general surgery at Harbor – UCLA Medical Center, Torrance, CA, followed by a residency in hand and microvascular surgery at UC San Francisco Medical Center and another in plastic and reconstructive surgery at UC Irvine Medical Center.

A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Vartany is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is also a member of the medical staff at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank, and the author of numerous scientific papers on the topic of plastic surgery.

Dr. Vartany is the founder of the Plastic Surgery and Laser Center in Burbank, where he operates out of a state-of-the-art surgical center with a hand-selected healthcare staff offering the highest-quality outpatient surgical care.
