It takes about 2 weeks for the swelling to resolve. The day after Juvederm injections usually is the day that swelling peaks. Also, rarely is swelling even on all sides.
Regarding the “ball” you feel, it may be small bruising underneath the filler which can feel like a lump or ball. Suggestion: schedule a follow-up appointment for 10 days to 2 weeks post-treatment. Any asymmetry and bumps with Juvederm can be resolved, or the product can be dissolved.

Wait. A full two weeks. If the asymmetry looks more exaggerated than before the filler, Juvederm can be injected with an enzyme that will dissolve the product.
A pre-injection photo of your lips also would be helpful in deciding how best to address this asymmetry.

The suggestion for 1 syringe of Juvederm for your NLF and oral commisseurs is quite a conservative one, which, more often than not, is the best approach. Product easily can be added at a later time. From your pictures, I also would suggest a little cheek augmentation with at least another syringe of Juverderm to start.

“Rested and not superficial” always should be the goal.
