How long does it take for skin redness to disappear after Fraxel Re:Pair?
Redness 2 weeks after Fraxel Re:Pair is not at all unusual
Jun 4, 2010
Facial redness after Fraxel Re:Pair normally resolves in 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the intensity of your treatment and the sensitivity of your skin, but some patients may take longer.   It is not at all unusual to still be red 2 weeks post procedure.  I would recommend following up with your physician to rule out any reason for excessive redness, such as a secondary infection, but otherwise give it a little more time.  If your skin is still red after 4 to 6...
How long does Juvederm lip injection swelling last?
Swelling normally peaks at 24 to 48 hours
Jun 4, 2010
Although all patients are different, swelling typically peaks at 48 hours post injection. This means that if you have your lips injected on a Friday, they will probably look the most swollen on Sunday morning and get better from there. If you are worried about having to take time away from your work or social schedule, you can limit the degree of swelling by gently icing the area 5-10 minutes every hour or so during the first 24 to 48 hours.

Jun 4, 2010

I would think it would be extremely unlikely to get a keloid or hypertrophic scar from a small gauge needle injection. The bigger risk would be if you developed some other uncommon complication after injection such as an infection or an exaggerated inflammatory response. In that case, there is a chance your skin could end up forming a hypertrophic or keloidal scar. I would recommend consulting...
