The skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the body and you are seeing some of the normal blood vessels underneath the skin in this area. In addition to concealer, which can be applied to the area, eye creams with caffeine can sometimes help constrict these vessels slightly to improve some of the dark circles. Be well.

Botox in the forehead area, which treats migraines, can weaken the muscles lifting the brows and accentuate brow ptosis and dermatochalasis (excess skin on the upper eyelids). In certain cases a brow lift and blepharoplasty can be performed to prevent this occurrence after your injections. I recommend follow up with an oculofacial surgeon for in person measurements. On the image, there appears to be pronounced platysma bands (vertical and become more pronounced with grimace). These vertical platysma bands can be treated with botox, which will need to be repeated every 3-4 months.
The incision you have can further be treated with injections (kenalog, 5-fluorouracil). Laser is another potential treatment to minimize the scar appearance.
An in person exam with a specialist will be the next step.

The good news is most chalazia will resolve on their own– even some that have been present for a few months. The warm compresses and eyelid hygiene are still useful both in treating chalazia and preventing them from coming on. IPL is not recommended for kids. The injections are also tough to perform in for kids in this age group. Unfortunately surgery will likely be recommended– though if it is not a chalazion that is very noticeable, I would recommend watchful waiting as well. Take care…

Thank you for your question. I agree that the brow lift incision has healed nicely. However, if you still feel like the brows are low, I would consider speaking with your surgeon regarding other types of brow lift– notably the endoscopic brow lift. This may help address your brow ptosis. Best of luck.
Will waiting 13 weeks instead of 11 weeks for Botox make a significant difference?

Thank you for your question. Botox generally wears off between 3-4 months after treatment. As the treatment wears off, your muscles will regain strength and the wrinkles may reform. This generally does not happen overnight, but is something that gradually sets back in. I do not think that changing the injection date by two weeks will make a noticeable difference. Best of luck!
