After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Brown University, Dr. Madnani went on to complete his medical degree and a residency in Head and Neck Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he currently holds a faculty position as a Clinical Assistant Professor.

Dr. Madnani holds board certifications from the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. “I fell in love with the head and neck anatomy in my last year in medical school, at an obscure anatomy lecture,” Dr. Madnani explains. “It’s beautiful, with intricate nerves and layers of muscles. It requires precision and artistry to get consistently incredible results, and there is no hiding them. Patients wear your work proudly and look at it constantly. That’s why I love doing what I do.”

Great question and a common concern. I would suggest a combination of skin tightening procedures with Botox/ neurotoxin to the olatysma muscles for best results. The Botox will soften the banding and the skin tightening procedures will tighten the skin. We offer both ultherapy and microRF for skin tightening.

I agree , 3 weeks is plenty of time for microneedling after facial fat transfer. You want to wait enough time for the transferred fat to settle and do not want to manipulate it too much initially as it’s delicate and takes time to get incorporated into its new location.
3 weeks is a good amount of time to wait. We routinely perform microneedling with RF after facial fat transfer. So this is our protocol as well.

HI, and thank you for the pictures. Yes you are a surgical candidate for a facelift and some kind of volume enhancement, which I routinely perform with a facial fat transfer. Two things that occur as we age are facial volume loss and and loosening of the overlying skin and muscles.

A facelift will address the looseness of the overlying skin and muscles and the the facial volume loss will be addressed by the facial fat transfer.

As to your exact question, 'am i ready', we can only answer...

Its probably from an area that took longer to heal. This can be seen if there is some breakdown of the overlying skin so its loss of pigmentation over the area. One excellent treatment for this is medical tattooing of the overlying skin to match the surrounding skin.

It all really depends on what your skin looks like. There is increased 'vascularity' of the skin over the areas of the surgery for the facelift, so yes, this can happen, however, there are treatments such as IPL lasers that can help with this.

We routinely offer our patients aftercare with lasers to further improve their facelift results and this is one of the treatments that we perform.

Usually the capillaries are limited to the area that the surgery is performed, not other parts of the face

Hi and thank you for the pictures. two basic processes occur as part of facial ageing. One is facial volume loss and the other is loosening of the overlying skin envelope of the face.

Some kind of skin tightening would be great for you, there are many energy based devices such as ultherapy or microRF. That combined with some facial fillers would be a good place to start and if you dont like injectable fillers, facial fat transfer is also an option.

I think the best options for you would be to restore some volume to your midface. so the sculptra is the best bet. Otherwise consider cheek fillers as well. That will volumize your midface and lift some of the lower face laxity.
The line in your cheek and the under eyes indicate volume loss thats occurring as part of the normal ageing process.
