Although your nose may appear lare and round to you, attempts to make the nose smaller by taking tissue out is a mistake.  You need more support not less.  You need tip support with grafting and suturing to give better definition to the tip and dorsum of the nose.  Yes, minor excisions of tissue in the nostrils and some of the underlying cartilage can be done but adding support to your nose is important.  Find a surgeon well versed in these techniques.  Good luck

You are right to be asking about facial volume.  Loss of volume, both soft tissue and bony, is a fundamental aging change.  Replacing or repositioning that volume is an essential element of a rejuvenating, natural facial rejuvenation plan.  That can be done using your own facial deep tissue during a facelift either with a mid facelift or with repositioning the SMAS (deep tissue and muscle) to the areas that need volume.  I also use fat injections with your own fat to replace volume in pati...

I agree that surgical augmentation is unnecessary and I believe that filler would over augment this area.  You have what most patients are looking for as far as cheek volume.  I would be wary of overcorrection and entering the vast realm of over treated, unnatural appearing patients walking around now.

There is no right answer and each option has advantages and disadvantages.  You need to discuss the optios with your surgeon.  Fat is more permanent and while it is true that weight gain can affect the fat, it is rare in my practice to ever see any significant change with the usual weight fluctuations.  I love Sculptra.  It develops build up of your own collagen and routinely lasts for up to 2 years which you will not see with any HA.  It also improves skin quality and gives a nice gradua...

As others have indicated, fat and deep plane lift both address the very important issue of restoring volume to the mid facial area.  In my experience both having performed the deep plane lift, and with other surgeons, the deep plane lift has a longer recovery period with swelling lasting much longer.  This is in general and your results may be different, but this i smy experience.  I mainly perform fat injections now to restore volume.  Good luck!

Im sorry to hear you are having these skin issues.  You  a  enot alone in wondering if leaky implants are causing you health problems.  Before I answer, you have to ask yourself if you are going to be comfortable with the implants if I say there is no evidence that leaky implants cause health concerns.  I say this because there is a large internet presence saying that they do.  If you are not going to be comfortable with that answer then you need to consider having the implants removed...

I agree with the consultant who said you should explore other options to achieve your desired result.  Although the photos are not helpful, it does appear that revision of the "facelift" is not indicated.  I agree that you need to discuss your concerns with your surgeon and explore the non operative options with him/her.  Good luck

First, you should discussing your concerns with your surgeon.  Numbness and tightness 2.5 months after a facelift is totally normal. Alot depends on what type of facelift was done because some lifts involve working with the deepest tissues of the face and it takes longer for the swelling to resolve.  Most deeper sutures like the one below the ear should resorb on their own after about 3 months but you may have a permanent suture. Ask you r sugeon.  All of this should calm down as time goes...

It is difficult to fully evaluate the neck with the photos you provided, but seeing your surgeon to discuss your concerns is essential.  Generally speaking, 7 weeks is too early to evaluate the results.  It is not unusual for the skin to loosen about this time.  Good skin care and ancillary skin treatments such as peels or laser therapy will help for the results to last.  Good luck

It is difficult to recommend a specific approach with the limited photos you provided.  That is why the initial evaluation by  board certified plastic surgeon with experience in rhinoplasty is so important.  I would recommend two opinions from different surgeons.   You do not need 5 opinions, but 2-3 will allow you to pick the surgeon you connect with best, look at photos, and talk to his/her past patients.Given the limitations I pointed out, I am going to disagree slightly with my colleague...

It is hard to  tell rom just one photo, but it looks as thoug you are within the 1 month time frame from your surgery.  If this is the case, there is still swelling and it is too early to tell.  You should discuss your concerns withh your surgeon whom I am sure wants to hear your concerns and questions.  Good luck

It would be unusual to have a volume effect from sculptra one month after your first injection.  Did your doctor inject another filler, perhaps a HA?  This could be residual swelling I suppose.  I agree to wait 3-4 months to evaulte it then.  There is no harm in waiting for your next injection.

I agree that you are a great candidate (not knowing your medical history as a caveat) for a neck or lower facelift.  You seem to have two issues.  Skin  laxity and banding of the platysma, a muscle that drape over your neck like an apron and has a left and right side.  There may a bit of fatty tissue excess as well although it is hard to tell form the photos.  All two or three of these issues need to be addressed to recreate a natural slim mneck profile.  Find a board certified plastic surge...

Your enopthalmos(sunken eye) and double vision could possibly be ther result of entrapment of the muscle or muscles on the  undersurface of the eye, the inferior rectus or inferior obliques muscles.  If you had a fracture of the floor of the orbit and the fat and muscles of the eye socket are still in the fracture line, they can scar down in the fracture and this would result in eye retrusion in double vision since the muscle cannot work correctly.  You need to see a plastic surgeon and an ...
