Hi Edith! This is a great question. It sounds like you have a condition called Diastasis recti. This happens when the ab muscles on either side of the belly button separate. It happens most commonly post-pregnancy, especially in women who’ve delivered a high-birth-weight baby or had multiple pregnancies erode the strength of the abdominal wall. The itching is completely normal.The marks are normal as well and should get better very soon. These procedures include a Liposuction procedure as well and therefore the downtime is similar to liposuction only procedure. The results are much better than Lipo because you also get the skin tightening. If excessive heat was applied hardening bumps can occur, however these are uncommon. Good Luck in your procedure.
