What is the best solution for acne scars & discoloration on the face?
PRP Microneedling

Jan 14, 2021
Thank you for your question. A great option for you would be microneedling with PRP and tranexamic acid. Microneedling will help decrease the size/appearance of scars and give you smoother skin. The PRP and tranexamic acid will aid in the lightening of your melasma. While you will see significant improvement, I would also recommend pairing the treatment with topicals such as tretinoin, vitamin c, and possibly hydroquinone. The best option would be to have a consultation with a…
Laser hair removal. IPL vs Diode?
Laser hair removal

Jan 2, 2020
Great question! In regards to overall patient satisfaction with laser hair removal I tend to see better outcomes with a diode laser when compared to an IPL. Also, depending on the color of your skin IPLs can be limited in their capability to treat darker skin types. I would recommend speaking with a medical provider that has experience with both types of lasers.

Thank you for your question. While patients can see a wide range of length a filler may last, typically we see Restylane Defyne/Refyne last anywhere from 1-2 years with a gradual decrease in the appearance of the filler. Without a photo or an in person assessment it can be challenging to determine if using hyaluronidase or allowing the filler to dissolve naturally would be the best coarse of action. I would recommend returning to your medical provider that inject the filler and review your…

Hi Neehha,
Thank you for your question and photo. A great option for you would be microneedling with PRP and tranexamic acid. Microneedling will help decrease the size/appearance of enlarged pores and give you smoother skin. The PRP and tranexamic acid will aid in the lightening of your melasma. While you will see significant improvement, I would also recommend pairing the treatment with topicals such as tretinoin, vitamin c, and possibly hydroquinone. The best option would be to…

Should I consider fillers in my cheeks for nasolabial folds? 32 year old man here. I would like

I would consider taking a combination approach to facial contouring. Using fillers in the midface will help replace some of the volume and help to take off some of the pressure being place on the nasolabial folds (NLF). In combination with placing fillers in the midface you can also directly addressed the smile lines or NLF by placing fillers or PRP into them. Make sure to go to a board-certified medical practitioner for any form on injectables.
What do I need to do for under my chin?

Thank you for your question. There are many options to help with the submental region. Depending on the amount of fat vs. loose skin you may want to consider another treatment using Kybella or have a consultation regarding skin tightening for under the chin. Fillers can be a good choice but trying to contour and define the jawline. I would recommend returning to a board-certified medical provider to discuss your option.
What fillers are used at corners of jawline to tighten loose skin on jawline?
Jawline Fillers

Dec 26, 2019
Thank you for your question. Many fillers can be used to help define the jawline including Juvederm Voluma, Radiesse, or Restylane Lyft. In my practice I prefer Juvederm Voluma due to its ability to provide strong support and lift in this area and the duration of the filler (up to 24 months). Depending on what time of lift you are looking for you may also consider other treatments, such as radiofrequency, ultrasound, surgical or a combination.
