It is possible that you may be confusing the swelling with the actual fat that was injected and think that it is "disappearing" remember that you are still swollen, and can be even a bit after 6 months post-op. This is a normal process that everyone goes through after a Lipo/bbl. As the swelling in your abdomen and back go down in the areas where fat was removed, the buttocks will appear bigger and more enhanced.

The amount of liposuction associated with a BBL depends on how much volume the patient wants to add to the area, and how much volume they wish to reduce from their trouble areas such as the abdomen, waits, upper lower back, thighs, and arms among others. Patients who are very lean and have little fat to harvest may be wise to gain a good 10-15 pounds in order to give the surgeon plenty to work with.
