What is the common approach to treating bottoming out during implant removal surgery?

Hi Asymmetry is almost always present, however if it is minimal then it is barely noticeable and usually fairly acceptable.It is possible to recreate the inframammary fold and determine where the implant will sit.Without knowing  the incision or seeing photos it is difficult  to be more  specific.Ensure you see a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in breast surgery as there is a large reconstructive aspect to your surgery.Best Wishes

Hi its best to wait and re assess after you have recovered form the radiotherapy.The grafting you have had has certainly had enough time to be well vascularised and established.Lipofat grafting a  useful technique for improving the appearance and skin quality of breast reconstruction  following radiotherapy.Your surgeon may consider doing this for you if you encounter any changes in your breasts after radiotherapy.Try and remain positive and maintain your nutrition during the treatment….

Hi, the scar revision is a relatively minor procedure, especially compared with the original procedure of a tummy tuck.The wound will be well healed in 2 weeks. Your surgeon will know you and your medical history the best so any advice about caring for your scar and resuming activity should come from your surgeon.It sounds as though you have a very competent surgeon whom you trust.Any advice I can give will be general advice and may not relevant for you.Best Wishes

Hi, yes having liposuction done at the same time is reasonable and safe provided you are not having large areas treated and are in good health. Often tummy tucks are performed with liposuction anyway so adding a breast lift procedure should not present any problems for you or your surgeon.The downtime will be mostly from the tummy tuck and you should have help for at least 3 weeks. I recommend that my patients wait 6 weeks from surgery before recommencing going to the gym to do weights…

Hi, it is normal to be worried about scarring, it is uncommon to have problems with scarring after a breast lift, especially with lighter skin. The final shape is much more important and from my experience this is the most important consideration. Only a lift with or without implants will give a result you will be happy with. As for your tummy tuck, losing more weight will not make too much difference, you will still have the loose and stretched skin. Unfortunately surgery remains your best…
