While BodyJet lipo is touted as being gentler, it is still a form of liposuction and results in swelling that may persist upwards of 6 months. If your chest is still tender, you are still in the process of healing. I would give it more time before making a definitive judgment. However, you should maintain close follow-up with your surgeon and address your concerns with him/her. If you remain unsatisfied, a redo procedure may be performed if your surgeon believes it is warranted.

Swelling is completely normal and will improve with time. Compression and massage can help, but it will likely take 3-6 months (if not sometimes more) for your results to take shape. I know it’s hard to be patient, but the recovery is an evolving process. Good luck!!

Every treated area and person are different and may respond differently. It’s hard to say what your recovery will be like for your thighs, but it sounds like you’re doing well from the other areas. Thighs tend to swell quite a bit, but compression and massage should help minimize that. Good luck!

What you are experiencing is normal and part of the process. Swelling will continue to resolve over the next several months, and sometimes it takes upwards of a year for skin remodeling/redraping to occur. I encourage patients to massage all treated areas as well as wear compression garments to address the swelling that ensues. Continue to maintain close follow-up with your surgeon.

There are non-invasive options to address skin laxity of the chin/neck area. Two options that help with looseness include ThermiTight and Smartlipo. They both stimulate collagen production, which results in tightening of the skin treated. If necessary, lipo can be performed in order to contour the chin/neck.
