We Need More Photos!
Dec 30, 2020
Please include a photo that has both of your eyes and most of your nose. Then we will be able to appropriately determine the canthal tilt, or angle. A positive canthal angle has the outside corner of the eye higher than the inside corner of the eye. A negative canthal angle would have the outside corner lower than the inside corner. We are taught that a positive angle is more aesthetically appealing. It is usually a simple operation for a properly trained surgeon to raise the outside...
Can I get some upper pole improvement by doing an implant vs. a lift?
Lift AND Implants is the answer
Apr 6, 2020
Thanks for your question and the pictures.  The only way upper pole fullness can be achieved is with an implant, because a lift by itself simply does not do this. A GIANT implant can do both of these, but hopefully no-one would recommend this for you.  Implants alone will give you the fullness you want, and you will look great in a bra, but out of a bra, you will have breasts hanging off of your implants:  not a good look.  As for liposuction, judging by the pics alone, it should make your ...
Can I have non surgical rhinoplasty? I have type 1 diabetes
It should be safe
Apr 6, 2020
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is typically for very small problems, and remember that it's temporary. Without pictures, it's touch to say if that is appropriate for you. In the hands of a board certified plastic surgeon, and a proper exam room or operating room, your risk of infection is very small, and either procedure (surgical or non-surgical) should be safe.  Best of luck to you.
Can my droopy tip be fixed without have a piggy nose?
Go have a consultation!
Apr 6, 2020
Thanks for the great pictures.  Very helpful.  Hate is a strong word, so if you really HATE your profile, you should investigate doing something about it. In my opinion your dorsum could easily be made to a straight profile. Additionally, a tiny bit of cartilage could be taken from the bottom portion of your columella (the skin and cartilage between your nostrils) because it is a pit prominent. This can be done without the piggy-nose look.  Do your homework and find a few board-certified pla...
Rhinoplasty. Are my expectations reasonable?
Looks pretty good
Apr 6, 2020
I think your result is very nice, BUT it depends on what your expectations were.  Your result shows an almost perfectly straight profile, which is fine, unless you were expecting a concave (scooped out, ski jump) profile.  If you are less than 6 months out from surgery, you need to give it more time, as your result will most likely improve.  The best person to fix this would be your primary surgeon because he or she knew exactly what was done.  If you are going to get a second opinion, mak...
Could a surgeon make my nose smaller in front and also take hump out of my nose?
Yes!
Apr 6, 2020
Based on the few pictures you sent, it looks like you could benefit for a basic rhinoplasty.  O formal exam with a board certified plastic surgeon will help answer your questions on specifically what could be done to improve the appearance of your nose;  but yes, the bum can be eliminated, the tip made less broad, and picked up a bit.  Best of luck to you, and do your homework before you choose a doc or 2 to go see for consultation.
What would be best for my jawline fat since Morpheus 8 didn't help - Kybella or other? (p
You may have many options left...
Jan 29, 2020
Thanks for your question.  Judging from the photos alone, it does not look like you have a lot of fat in the submental area.  Go see a board certified plastic surgeon, and they can make the determination whether or not there is treatable fat in this area.  Your surgeon may recommend cool sculpting, Kybella, liposuction, topical treatments, or nothing!  Best of luck to you.
My breasts are fairly uneven especially the areola . Is it possible for me to make one ar
Surgery may help
Sep 23, 2019
Thanks for the pictures, very helpful.  It is much easier for your surgeon to make the larger areola smaller to more closely match the other side, than vice versa.  HOWEVER, if you are planning on having children, you may wish to wait, as changes in breast size and shape (also the areola) can definitely happen with pregnancy. If it driving you nuts when you look at it every day and causing you distress/depression you can likely talk your surgeon into surgery sooner rather than later.  Ple...
I’m getting a breast augmentation but do I need a lift?
Yes to the lift
Sep 23, 2019
Thanks for the pictures, very helpful. An implant alone will give the volume you are looking for, and you will look great in clothes. If you want to look great out of clothes, the lift will be needed.  This will help address the lack of skin you have between the nipple and the infra-mammary crease, and raise the nipple-areola complex to the proper height on the breast.  Please make sure you are seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon, and best of luck to you!
Do all facelifts have scars in front of the hairline? Are there other options?
There is no rule for scar placement.
Sep 20, 2019
Every facelift patient is different, so the scars will be different on an every patients as well. Not every patient needs scars to go up into the hairline; only patients with a large amount of extra skin to redrape will require scars this long. A short scar facelift technique will have a scar that ends approximately at the sideburn! Of course, this procedure is reserved for patients who do not have a lot of extra skin. Make sure you're seeing a board certified plastic...
How would my nose need to be reshaped in order to suit my face?
This looks like a fun afternoon for your surgeon!
Sep 20, 2019
Rhinoplasty is just the best procedure! It's always tough to do a consultation based only on photos. But based on your pictures alone your tip and your nasal bones both need to be narrowed, your tip needs to be de-projected and rotated up. Certainly the dorsal hump should be reduced; if you want your tip as de-projected as it is in the computer simulation, then yes, I agree that your radix should be lowered a bit as well. Make sure you're seeing a board certified...
Do marks left from CoolSculpting go away?
Oh No!
Sep 20, 2019
Oh my goodness. I am so sorry that this happened to you. My office does a ton of cool sculpting, and we have seen mild hyperpigmentation once or twice in the past, but I have never seen it this bad and clearly delineated. If I were treating this complication, I would be treating it aggressively with a combination of retinoic acid, hydroquinone, broadband light, and fractional resurfacing. Hopefully you are doing your cool sculpting with a board certified...
What are my options regarding rhinoplasty? Would my nose be a good applicant for this sur
Not an easy one
Sep 20, 2019
This is a kind of nose that every plastic surgeon and ENT wants to tackle, specifically so they can show the before and after pictures! It's always difficult to try and do a consultation only from pictures, but at a minimum your tip needs to be de-projected and elevated. Once your tip is de-projected, your dorsum will need to be lowered as well. This may sound simple, but this is not a garden variety rhinoplasty for a beginning surgeon. Please seek out...
Could I have a closed rhino or will a nose filler look good with my nose?
Surgery is the definitive answer
Sep 20, 2019
Personally I love putting fillers in the nose to camouflage bumps. In your case, a small amount of filler below and above the bump will make it look a bit less angular, but not necessarily smaller. If you want the bump to be smaller, then surgical rhinoplasty is the answer. There are surgeons who are very skilled at closed rhinoplasty, but there seemed to be less and less of them every year, as the open approach give us much more direct exposure to the cartilage and bone for...
Is this nasal valve collapse or can UCL strut be placed unilaterally?
Please be patient!
Sep 20, 2019
Thank you for your post. This is an important question to answer, and I am glad so many surgeons are giving their opinion on this one. Remember that swelling in the nasal tip is not 100% resolved until about a year after rhinoplasty. This can obviously affect airflow as well, as the swelling is on the inside too. Even if you do nothing, your airflow and appearance of the tip are likely to improve significantly as swelling continues to decrease. I don't see...
