What amount and where would I need Botox to remove the 11s and forehead wrinkles?
First time botox
Mar 9, 2020
Thanks for posting your question and photo.  Congratulations on deciding to try botox.  As you may be aware, botox takes 2-3 days to start working and you will see the full effect after 2 weeks.  The botox will last 3-4 months. It will wear off slowly.  For your glabella (the 11 lines between the eyebrows), you need 12-20 units.  I would encourage you to pick a provider that will give you botox, but then see you about 2 weeks later to see how it took and to see if more is needed.  With botox...
Is hair transplant viable if I am 26 (F) with oily scalp and dry hair?
Female hair Transplant
Sep 5, 2019
A female hair transplant is an incredible procedure to enrich the density of the scalp in regions of thinning. If you have a dry scalp, you should work on having this optimized prior to the procedure. This may involve topical (and rarely oral) medicines to improve the scalp. You should see a hair restoration specialist to evaluate you in person and go from there. Best of luck!
Can Minoxidil still work after a laser hair removal treatment?
Minoxidil and beards
Sep 5, 2019
Minoxidil works to stimulate live follicles to grow. If you lasered and destroyed all your beard follicles, you will not see much growth with minoxidil.  Likely, there are some dormant follicles that did not die with the laser...and you will get some sparse growth. I would say that a thick beard is very unlikely given your prior decision to laser the visible hairs. Best of luck deciding whether to try and stimulate a beard or to shave.
Can previous PRP injections cause issues for hair transplants due to scarring?
PRP and hair transplant
Sep 5, 2019
Thanks for this question. There is no published evidence showing potential harm to a hair transplant from PRP from scarring. I have not seen it in my experience.  Best of luck!
Would I be a potential candidate for a tip plasty?
Tip Rhinoplasty
Sep 5, 2019
Thanks for posting your question and photos. You would benefit from tip rhinoplasty to narrow the tip. This would bring the nose and face into proportion. Take your time choosing your surgeon and study before and after photos to find similar examples to your nose. Best of luck!
Can I have a revision blepharoplasty?
Do not rush a revision
May 31, 2019
Thanks for posting your question. Sorry to read of your concern.  You can always have more skin taken, but I would not rush for this next step.  Make sure you are healed before deciding to do more.  I am not sure how far out from surgery you are, but I would speak with your surgeon about your concerns and give plenty of time to make sure that your surgeon is not operating on a swollen/distorted eyelid. Best of luck.

Do not rush
May 20, 2019
I would strongly encourage you to give this more time.  I have seen swelling masquerade as a hump.  Sure - it is possible there is still a hump, but it is possible there is just swelling.  It is also possible a rasp is not the only maneuver necessary to lower the hump *(you may need a shave of the dorsal cartilage). I would wait at least 3 months, if not longer.  Good luck!!
1 year post FUE, is it safe to use a dermapen once a week at a 1-1.5mm setting? Would it damage th
Dermapen 1 year after FUE
May 20, 2019
At 1 year, the FUE grafts are in place, just like your other. You should get clearance from your hair transplant surgeon, but it should be safe!  Best of luck.

Swelling
May 13, 2019
Swelling is common and distorting after lip fillers. It takes 2 weeks to be able to judge the result for most. You should follow the directions that your injector suggested or call your injector for directions to help reduce swelling. Hopefully, as the swelling goes down, you love your result. Best of luck.
6 weeks post-op. My tip cartilage shifted after being hit. Is this possible? Advice?
Injury after rhinoplasty
May 13, 2019
I am so sorry to read of your nasal injury after rhinoplasty. I am sure you are very upset and anxious. Unfortunately, it is very hard to figure out what has happened over the photos. I suggest returning to your surgeon for an in person evaluation. Hoping it is just swelling. Best of luck!
Are there different growth patterns after FUE transplant?
Hair evaluation after transplant
May 13, 2019
Thanks for your question. I would let your hair restoration physician guide you.  In general, there are a minority of patients who have a late telogen after FUE. They grow hair for many months, then shed, then the hair returns. In these patients, we continue medical treatment (rogaine, propecia) and give it time.  It can take up to 18 months to truly understand the result for a hair transplant. The classic description is that 80% of patients see 80% of growth at 8 months.  You may be in th...
Am I suitable for a hair transplant even though I don't have a huge amount of hair loss? I want to
Hair Transplant
May 13, 2019
A hair transplant works by placing hair from the back of the head (donor site) into areas of thinning. In your case, you have very few open areas that are transplantable. I would not recommend a hair transplant at this time.  The next step is meet with a hair restoration physician for a consult to review your medical history, closely examine your hair, and discuss goals and options for treatments. Best of luck from NYC.
Would collagen stimulation from a dermapen be enough to camouflage a dorsal hump the same way fill
Dermapen and fillers are different.
May 13, 2019
Thanks for your question. The collagen induction from a dermapen is microscopic. The induction of collagen will not be significant enough to fill a dorsal hump.  You may swell initially an it could help for a few days, but it wont be a lasting result.  On the other hand, fillers are macroscopic. The filler is placed beneath the dermis. The two treatments are totally different.  Best of luck from NYC!
Can I take Zyrtec allergy medicine after Radiesse?
allergy medicine and fillers
May 13, 2019
Feel free to confirm with the person who injected you, but to my knowledge, there is no reason to think that you cannot take an allergy medicine after fillers. Best of luck.
Do I need a neck lift or lower facelift? Or both?
Address the lower face and neck together
May 13, 2019
Thanks for posting your question with photos. Congratulations on losing the weight - that is awesome! I think that the best option for you is to have a lower face and necklift with a central submentoplasty. You have a loose neck and early jowls.  When you were heavier, the skin was stretched in the neck and in the face. Now, it is loose. If you do not perform this combination approach, you will likely be returning for more surgery, and you may lose the balance in the lower face and neck t...
