Hi. Your concerns are understandable. You have a combination of a retracted ala + a hanging columella. Both can be improved & addressed by adding more structural support to your nose & by rearranging the tip cartilages. The fullness in the supratip (ie "pollybeak") can be improved - this is either remaining cartilage, a graft or scar tissue. Revision rhinoplasty is more difficult than the first time, but worth it if your concerns bother you. Good luck!

Absolutely you can take down the hump without dramatically changing the front view. Rhinoplasty results should always be natural and no one should know by looking at your nose that you had surgery. You can correct the septum at the same time. The decision on whether to make other changes to your nose is yours. Hi 123kittypaw. Sometimes the shape of the nose affects the upper lip length. For instance, if your nose is overprojected & long, it can make the upper lip distance seem short. Doing a rhinoplasty will definitely improve both the nose and the lip. In addition, if you also have a gummy smile, you can apply a small amount of botox to the muscles that elevate the lip to improve this. Good luck. Best, Dr H

Hi there. The survival & success of fat transfer is not affected by where you take the fat. However, you have to have enough fat to harvest in the donor location to fill the hollows. .The underarm/upper back area may not have enough fat, but only way to know for sure is to see a surgeon in person.
