Should I get a fat graft to cover eyelid, or ptosis surgery?
Wonky upper face
Feb 16, 2021
I think you look cute. The asymmetries go down to the bone. Assuming that you dont want major craniofacial surgery, it may helpful to try to create an illusion by filling in the larger orbit with some brow filler.
This can be done with a filler like restylane which lasts about 2 years in that location.
The result can be previewed by injecting with some local anesthetic
How to make smile wider from profile as only 3 teeth show but I’d like 5 teeth to show?
Wants more smile.
Feb 16, 2021
Buccal fat doesn’t do that. Neither will subalar implants.
What might do that is advancing both the maxilla and the jaw to push the teeth forward. Major surgery and you will look very different.
Is Buccal Fat removal right for me?
Buccal fat
Feb 14, 2021
No on buccal fat. The procedure has been trendy on RS but doesnt help you. You are young with still elastic skin.
You need a little jowl liposuction under local anesthetic in the office, which is very easy. About 4 cc comes out per side and that goes onto the chin hollow.
No down time and it has a major effect on the face.
I do this all the time in people up to their 70’s. I have NEVER seen skin collapse in that area.

You didn’t complain about the appearance of the implant: you complained about pain. The fact that the tail of the implant sits lower than the opposite side may or may not be visible, depending on your soft tissue and bony conformation.

The big question is whether or not it will affect the pain that you have, The implant riding low puts it farther away from the big nerve that goes to the lips and chin. You can see that on the CT. I myself don’t think that trimming or repositioning the…

Can a non-surgical rhinoplasty fix my nonexistent nose bridge and flared nose?
Can a non-surgical rhinoplasty fix
Feb 10, 2021
Nose filing can can help the dorsum. In my practice I inject a little slaine and local anesthetic into the nose….this duplicates the effect of the filler for a few minutes…… that way both you and the doc can tell what it looks like an whether you like it.

The nasal flaring with animation is another problem and fillers don’t help that.

Is facelift tape safe to use?

Actors have used used face tapes since they were invented. The work fine as long as your skin is not irritated
Crepey eyes. What do you suggest would be my best option?
Crepey eyes. What do you suggest would be my best option
Feb 4, 2021
He best result would be to not ever smile with your eyes again. The skin changes with age and becomes less elastic: botox might help a little, so might lasers. My experience is that no matter how much money you throw at this it will not improve a lot, though the lids will look better when they are swollen.
I’m 35, fit, average diet, 25% body fat, but I have a double chin. Advice?
have a double chin. Advice?
Feb 4, 2021
If you have a lot of money and time the perfect solution would be top get a necklift with removal of the submandibular glands and digastric muscles. A pleasing, but not so perfect result would be to do a little liposuction in the submental area. This is an office procedure under local anesthetic, the skin will be fine and not wrinkle or sag
Chin implant versus non-surgical options? I have a weak chin.
Chin implant versus non-surgical options?
Feb 4, 2021
If you want to fix the main issues of the face you would get a chin implant and maybe a little lipo under the chin. ou are wasting money with half measures that won’t work.
Would I be a successful candidate for Buccal Fat Removal?

I for one can’t possibly tell because you have a huge smile which completely obliterates the buccal fat pad. Send non smiling pictures from the front and oblique views.
Can a filler fix my weird nose problem?
Can a filler fix my weird nose problem
Feb 4, 2021
The short answer is yes. I approach situations like this by injecting the nose with a little local anesthetic which duplicates the effect of the filler so you can see if you like it. If you do we inject into a numb nose. Easy and everyone gets to see if they like it. HA filler there last about 1-2 years
Is a slimmer and more defined jawline achievable without bone shaving? Is liposuction an option?
Doesn’t like her face
Feb 3, 2021
You really need to stop obsessing in the mirror, you are beautiful and in my experience people who are obsessed with their faces to the degree that you seem to be, have a substantial risk of making themselves look worse. I’ve been doing plastic surgery for almost 40 years and situation like the one I describe come up all the time.

Relax. You look great. You might consider not doing lip filler for a few years as it is not making you look better, IMO.

Am I suitable for a mini facelift?
Jan 29, 2021
It is an unfortunate truth that if you point to something, some plastic surgeon will want to operate on it.

The decision to do surgery or not is a value judgment; my value judgment is that you should wait. I don’t think there is enough to correct to make a significant difference and be worth the time effort and expense. The little things that you point out can be fixed with fillers. There’s nothing wrong with looking as good as you do for another few years.
