Can I get Kybella if I am on Accutane?

My only hesitation is that accutane slows down your healing time & thus it may slow down how fast you heel right after a kybella injection (lumps, firmness, and bruising). Contact your injector and make sure you also seek a board certified dermatologist for that particular questions. Sincerely, Anita Gill MD

That time frame will be fine for your next treatment. Kybella is a great treatment option for the “double chin”.

TCA peels will improve the acne and scars, but it may not be 100%. Also, it is difficult to tell on the photo, but make sure your skin type is appropriate for a medium depth TCA.Jessner’s peel. I usually like 3 treatments spaced about 6 weeks apart if you can do it.

Only certain types of peels should be used in ethnic skin- (olive to brown skin)- it can be normal to have brown spots appear after a chemical peel, but it should slough off. Make sure you consult with your MD that you had the correct peel and you are not having post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.All the best, Anita Gill MD
Is it normal to still have hardness and lumps?

It is normal to have induration (firmness) and bumps on the neck post kybella for 2-4 weeks. I usually recommend icing the area for the first week, and eventually those areas will subside. Make sure you are seeing a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon- all the best, Anita Gill MD

Icing the area after Kybella seems to be the most effective for the bruising and tenderness that occurs after- I would also recommend arnica (oral and topical) to diminish the bruising if it occurs. 
Skin is not getting peeled off even 4 days after chemical peeling.

A chemical peel does not always produce peeling, but may still produce results. I would wait 7-14 days, and if you do not see a results, go back to your MD to re-evaluate. Best, Anita Gill MD
