Hello! Liposuction (combined with skin tightening) is a great alternative to get better shape and remove excess fat. What it cannot do is correct muscle separation and remove excess skin which a tummy tuck procedure can. No surgeon can predict tissue elasticity after liposuction and so combining it with a skin tightening modality (i.e. J-Plasma or body tight) would be the best alternative. Hello! Unfortunately, it appears that you have some extra skin after liposuction. When combining liposuction w/ skin tightening (i.e. j-plasma etc.) you can expect up to a 60% improvement but it is not perfect. Surgically, the gold standard is to perform a tummy tuck to remove the extra skin and give you a tighter look. Nonsurgically, you can look into Morpheus 8 (RF microneedling) treatments to help tighten the area around the belly button for a better result. Good luck!

Hello! Depending on the amount of liposuction, lymphatic massages (although not mandatory) are always recommended to aid in the recovery process. Large volume liposuction typically involves a large volume of tumescent solution that is used to perform the procedure. This can leave patients with significant swelling in the post operative period. Hello! I think that most plastic surgeons that are skilled in performing arm liposuction would perform lipo360 of the arms with some sort of skin tightening modality (i.e. J plasma, body tight, etc). This would address the entirety of the arm including the back/posterior and give you better overall definition of the arms. Although you would benefit from full back liposuction as well, I would start with the lipo360 of the arms and after healed possibly address the back and torso. Good luck!

I almost always tell my patients that liposuction is likely one of the most painful procedures that Plastic Surgeons do (both for the patient as well as the physician!) if the liposuction was done right. Hello! Liposuction (w/ skin tightening) is certainly a great option in efforts to avoid the tummy tuck scar.
