Many people have asymmetric eyebrows. In many cases this may be do to underlying drooping or ptosis of your eyelids which you are subconsciously accommodating. Although Botox may fix the eyebrow problem I would make sure you don't have underlying ptosis. You may find that your eyelids drop after eyebrow botox leaving a less than desired result. If ptosis is present, ptosis repair of the lids often reverses the eye brow asymmetry.

There are many options to repair missing tissue of the eyelid. Without photos, it is difficult to advise. However, reconstruction should be tailored to first allow the eyelid to close properly, second to allow it to open for visual function, and finally for cosmesis. Ptosis can recur after surgery that seems to have an initial excellent result. There can be a lot of factors. In your case, did you recently have a corneal transplant? Any ocular surgery can change the eyelid height, mainly due to inflammation and swelling associated with the eye surgery. Much of these changes will resolve with time.

Surgeons have different techniques for closing wounds to minimize scar. Some like steri strips over wounds. I personally do not like them on the eyelid, since the eyelid is a dynamic structure and the 'stiff' strips can be uncomfortable as you have noticed.

I would consult with your surgeon as to whether ointment is perfered over the steri strips. In my experience it is not a problem.

Given you history of no eyelid crease before surgery, you probably had pre-existing ptosis or drooping of the left upper eyelid. Double eyelid crease surgery will not change that, and therefore after surgery you still have ptosis of both upper eyelids, the left worse than the right.

Re-operations are always challenging. However, if your previous surgery did not address all your concerns, re-operation may be warranted. Your three issues, eyelid height, eyelid crease, and eye brow height all interact and therefore should be addressed by an experienced surgeon with all these issues; consider an oculoplastics surgeon for further consultation.
