This delightful 41 year old multiparous Asian woman from San Diego consulted the practice for breast augmentation. Her history was remarkable for removal of a benign mass from her left breast using an incision along the upper border of her left areola (periareolar) as seen on her preoperative photos. She desired a very conservative increase in breast volume and preferred a 150 cc sizer when she tried on during her consultation. She underwent an uncomplicated bilateral breast augmentation with Mentor 150 cc smooth round high profile gummy bear silicone implants placed through her previous breast scar on the left breast and creation of a matching scar on her right breast. The implants were placed under the muscle in a dual plane. She was very happy with the aesthetic outcome and felt much more proportional in her clothing. She returned to her ususal activities within a few weeks following surgery.
