Hi Optimist,You may want to consider photodynamic treatment which is a combination of Levulan a topical photosensitizer that concentrates in precancerous cells and either blue light or intense pulsed light as the activating light source. This procedure leads to photochemical destruction of pre-cancers and improvement in background chronic sundamage. Tattoos are best treated using laser surgery. Before we had lasers we used dermabrasion or Salabrasion, but these are far less effective. You would be best served by seeing a laser expert for treatment of your tattoo.

I would advise that you seek the opinion of a dermatologic surgeon with expertise in fractional laser therapy, i.e. for Fraxel laser can be very beneficial for both unwanted discoloration and scars . Fraxel is safe to use on all skin types. A less expensive ,albeit less successful modality would be micro needling coupled with topical skin lighteners and collagen stimulators.

Hello Natural2011 the dent that you see commonly occurs after soft tissue augmentation and can easily be corrected by filling it with more filler like Juvederm. I would recommend that you return to your doctor for a touch up.
