If I didn’t get the brow lift with eyelid surgery is there no chance I could have a local?
Eyelid surgery under local
Sep 11, 2022
Thank you for your question. All the surgeries described by you can be done under local anesthesia. Internal brown left, upper lid blepharoplasty and lower lip blepharoplasty from inside or outside all can be done under local anesthesia. It’s painless and the recovery is much faster. I do virtual consultation. You can get more information on my website: drhormozi.com. Also, For more information you may call 410-825-4022.
Almost 40 - Too soon for blepharoplasty?
Lower lid blepharoplasty
Sep 9, 2022
Thank you for your inquiry. Based on your pictures you have fat prolapse in the lower eyelids which is usually genetics and runs in the family. This fat can be removed through transconjunctival Blepharoplasty without scar and incision outside. I combine that with radio frequency which increases collagen formation in the skin and create tightening of the lower eyelids. The recovery is very fast since there’s no outside incisions. The age is not an issue since this surgery is even done on a...
Have you seen these bumps/this type of healing before?
Bumps on eyelids
Jun 15, 2021
These are not milia. These are suture tracks and the most effective way to remove them is to redo the incision and close properly with subcutaneous running suture. If you are in Baltimore , I will be glad to take care of it for you.
I was told I need an eyelid surgery and blepharoplasty. Should I use an ocular surgeon?
Eyelid surgery
Feb 24, 2021
An oculofacial surgeon is the best to address your concerns. Based on the photos, an upper eyelid blepharoplasty with brow adjustment and lower eyelid Blepharoplasty with a mid face elevation would give you a younger look and correct the hollow looking of the lower eyelids and raise the cheeks to repair the tear trough deformity. These can be done under strict local anesthesia with may be a 5 mg Valium for comfort. I will be glad to see you for a free consultation and address all these...
Droopy Eyelids and Downward Tilted. What can I do to fix this?
Drooping eyelids and asymmetry
Feb 24, 2021
Thank you for your question. based on the photos you definitely have a Ptosis of one side creating droopiness and asymmetry. A personal evaluation can determine if this is congenital or acquired since the treatment can be different. you are in Maryland and I will be glad to see you and assess the cause and recommend the appropriate treatment. You may call my office at 4108254022 for a free evaluation.
Possible candidate for lower eye blepharoplasty? I’m 39 years old.
lower eyelid Blepharoplasty
Feb 5, 2021
You have protruded fat pockets in the lower eyelids and best approach at your age is an internal Trans-conjunctival blepharoplasty . This surgery is performed under strict local anesthesia. Since you are in Maryland, I will be glad to see you in Towson. You may call my office at 4108254022 for a free consultation.
Eyelid Lift: Should I do upper and lower?
Eyelid surgery
Sep 16, 2020
Thank you for your question. Looking at your photo an upper lid blepharoplasty with internal brow elevation And lower lid Blepharoplasty would be the proper thing to do for optimal results.
Can Botox fix nocturnal lagophthalmos?
Eye exposure
Apr 20, 2020
Thank you for your question. In general Botox is not indicated for this condition. There are other things that can be done to help you close your eyes when you’re sleeping. Since you are in Maryland I will be glad to see you to evaluate the cause and look for a corrective action and treatment
Can you help me after getting a blepharoplasty under my eyes made my issue worse?
Festoons
Nov 24, 2019
Thank you for your question.  Festoons although  challenging and often treated with direct surgical excision, I have found a way to reduce and often eliminate them using radio frequency   This technique using my own designed hand piece, does not leave any scars but creates a retraction of the skin and thickening of the dermal tissue, reducing fluid collection in those pockets  in the mean time, low léger of diuretics ( fluid pills ) and avoiding sleeping on your face can reduce them subs...
How do I fix my asymmetrical cockeyed left eye?
Asymmetrical eyes
Oct 19, 2019
Progressively worsening asymmetry always raises the concern of thyroid problem or any other orbital issue that can create a symmetry. I suggest that you see a board-certified oculoplastic surgeon to evaluate for the reason of the asymmetry. In vast majority of cases the normal Eye looks small compared to an eyelid retraction in the opposite side which gives you a more open eye !
Is it possible to have lower eyelid surgery without causing dry eyes to worsen?
lower eyelid surgery and dry eye
Sep 6, 2019
Lower eyelid surgery can be performed in presence of the dry eye without aggravating the dry eye and and often improving the dry eye depending on laxity of lower eyelids.  An experienced Oculoplastic surgeon should be able to help you in this matter.  A proper tightening of lower eyelid tendon and ofter combined with a cheek elevation can achieve this result.
Is it possible to expand the eye socket and bring my eye out further?
Asymetrical eyes
Aug 14, 2019
Thank you for your question. There are simple ways to improve the symmetry by opening the eyelid fissure via ptosis surgery.  A more involved surgery would be to place a bone graft or implant in the orbit to push the eye forward.  I suggest the less involving, eyelid surgery to achieve some symmetry .
Are my goal photos a realistic expectation of upper bleph for me to get a more opened-look from hoode
Upper eyelid surgery
Aug 6, 2019
Based on your expectation, an upper eyelid Blepharoplasty can achieve your goal and even better than you can show on the photographs.  Good luck.
I think too much skin was removed from one eye and not enough from the other eye. Can you tell me if
Upper eyelid surgery
Aug 5, 2019
Three weeks postoperatively it’s way too early to make a judgment as to the amount of skin removed and shape of the eyelids. You have plenty of scar process that will resolve and change the incision line and the amount of skin visible at this point. I would suggest to be patient and wait up to 6 months to see the absolute final result and based on what I see on the photograph you will be very satisfied with the result
Disappointed with results 8 weeks post lower bleph. Looking for expert opinions, will I need a revisi
Lower eyelid Blepharoplasty
Aug 5, 2019
Based on your photograph the bags underneath the eyes are gone. Eight weeks is too early to judge the result of the surgery for lower lids. It can take up to six months to see the final result and I would suggest that you wait the full 6 months before doing any other procedures.
