Statement: Dr. Eddy Dona has been a Specialist Plastic Surgeon and member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons since 2007.

After earning his medical degree from the University of Sydney, Dr. Dona pursued a career in plastic surgery because of its fusion of art and surgical technique. He completed 11 years of specialty training—obtaining specialist qualifications with a fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons —to become a fully qualified cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgeon in 2007.

Despite the demands on his time with running a busy private practice, for the first 15 years of his specialist career as a plastic surgeon Dr Eddy Dona dedicated part of his time working in some of Sydney’s busiest public hospitals, including providing emergency on-call services.

It was here where Dr Dona was required to reconstruct the bodies of those affected by trauma and cancer. He firmly believes that only through the experience and skills of “restoring” a person’s normal form is a surgeon able to comprehend what it is to be a true cosmetic plastic surgeon. “Enhancing someone’s natural beauty is easy for the surgeon who is also capable of recreating beauty that has been stolen” Dr Dona says.

If you are being treated with the three platforms TRIM, TITE and TONE, the treatment takes 75 minutes. However, we advise our patients to allow up to 2 hours for the clinic visit as time is required between treatments to change the applicators.

There is no recovery period or downtime associated with the Evolve treatments. You can return to your normal activities immediately. Patients may notices redness and warmth in the treated area which subsides in a few hours.
