Restylane and all the other Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers such as Juvederm, Vollure, Volbella, Voluma, Belotero and Silk promote water retention especially within this treatment area, which in turn often exacerbates swelling. If the swelling remains after two weeks post treatment then its good bet the HA filler is holding onto excess water and the filler gel needs to be dissolve with hyaluronic acid.

Sorry you had some much bruising but lips are very vascular and bruise easily. Necrosis is rare and takes several days to turn black. I would get the injector or another one to evaluate in person to be safe.

Smart for you to ask before you leap. Get to a good plastic surgeon who also does non-invasive treatments and ask. You need a in-person evaluation. To be honest, its hard to imagine how adding fillers will reduce size of your nose.

Thanks for this common question. Botox or Dysport with a very seasoned injector if best bet but need face to face evaluation to be sure. Be careful as this is not an area most injectors do so get to an expert with high volume practice in your area.

Thanks for posting your question but the dollar amount you were quoted sounds extremely high - unless he/she was including Laser treatments. It's always a good idea to get 2nd opinion when price tag is so high. LYFT and VOLUMA should last close to a year, sometimes more. It just depends on few factors and most important ones being your age, how much filler is injected and where in face its injected.

You are smart to ask other professionals to get more realistic feedback. I am not aware of any limitations to frequency of tear-trough filler treatments. If your injector directs you to some article or research that says otherwise please post it for all of us to see and learn.
In meantime keep in mind that its important to not overtreat by getting it done too close together. I like my patients to wait till most of it has been absorbed.

Xanax and most prescription medications can be taken day or treatments. Of course you should your injector specifically when to re-start any anti-platelet and blood thinner medications.
I know Xanax comes in liquid form but I'm cuirous: Is there a reason you prefer it over small Xanax pills?
