Generally a face/neck lift is performed under deep sedation or a full general anaesthetic . The choice between the two is not so important and based on the experience and preference of your surgeon’s anaesthetic team . But most importantly the surgeons requires a constant low blood pressure to reduce bleeding and prolonged periods of low blood pressure in older patients ( more than 70-75 years old may be associated with cognitive decline as recent studies. I would not recommend multiple other procedures if you are having a full face /neck lift and the anaesthetic time for that is more than 6 hours. Factors such as surgeon and team fatigue are important as well as focusing on your recovery from a long procedure

There is no such thing as the “best “ but there are a lot of good choices David Kim in California is excellent , dean Toriumi in Chicago is also good , many patients also travel internationally for revision surgery and you should consider both the UK and Australia as many of us have huge revisional Rhinoplasty practices

Revision surgery can be considered as early as 12 months post surgery but it is vital that you seek help from plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon who performs a large number of both primary and revisional surgery Please also get copies of your original surgery operating records and pre surgery photos  to better inform the potential surgeon
