In my rhinoplasty practice we require a physical exam that is within 30 days of the surgery, and all tests are based on patients health status and age. Of course every medical center and physician has their own policies. If you are under 35 and have no history of medical problems you may not need anything more than just a physical exam by your primary care doctor.
