It does appear that there is some constriction of tissue around your nipples. This tissue needs to be released in order to make your breasts less tubular in shape. Once this is done, breast augmentation can be performed to increase the size of your breasts if desired.

Patients with tuberous breasts can achieve great results with either round or teardrop shaped implants, as long as the constricted tissue is released prior to implantation. A lift may also be needed to improve perkiness and symmetry.

Generally speaking, it is advised that patients wait 6 months after they’ve stopped breastfeeding before considering any cosmetic breast surgery. It would be best to inform your surgeon about your situation so that they can make the call as to whether your surgery should be rescheduled or not.
