It seems you may have moved your arm in a quick, jerking motion which has affected the muscle and possibly caused some mild trauma to the area. You may just require giving it some time for the pain to subside, however I would advise you to see your surgeon and/or Nurse to make a physical assessment.

Good afternoon, All surgeon’s protocols vary, however I advise my patients to sleep elevated for 2 weeks to prevent swelling and also to assist with implant placement. At 3- 4 weeks you can start sleeping on your side. You don’t necessarily need to be upright, propping yourself up on a few pillows is sufficient.
