After looking at all the photos, it looked to me that your greatest problem is in the under eye area where, unfortunately, you have very prominent festoons. The treatment of this is quite complex and, in my opinion, is best treated by an oculofacial plastic surgeon highly experienced in this problem. Separately, I would recommend a Weekend Face and Neck Lift and possibly a Hetter Peel too. I don't know if there's doctors in your area which specialize in these procedures. Good luck!

No. A facelift does not help to improve festoons and may in fact make them appear worse. As may cosmetic surgery on the lower eyelids. There's no universal consensus on what causes festoons and there is no universal consensus on treatment. Thank you for your question. It looks to me like they could have removed some or a little more skin during the lower eyelid surgery. That said, I think that the wrinkles could be addressed without additional surgery. See my friend, Peter Rullan M.D. in Chula Vista. My best advice is to do nothing for a few months to see how everything settles down. Twenty-nine may be early for eyelid surgery. I think that the best thing that you can do is to get a second opinion from a local oculo-facial plastic surgeon who is well regarded on this forum and who will have the greatest expertise and training for treating this delicate area. Regardless of the other answers you received, the truth is that you are terribly under corrected after your upper lid blepharoplasty. Five months waiting for swelling to subside is reasonable.
