Is Trusculpt the Same as Coolsculpt?
Trusculpt versus Coolsculpting
Aug 15, 2017
Trusculpt and Coolsculpting approach fat loss in very different ways. Trusculpt utilizes radiofrequency to target fat cells, signaling fat cell death, and also has the benefit of tightening and smoothing the surrounding tissue. Usually, 3 monthly treatments are recommended, with results 4-12 weeks later. Cutera has recently upgraded their system to Trusculpt 3D, which accomplishes the 24-34% reduction in circumference with a single treatment, as it now penetrates further down. Both are...
Inner eyelid drop 5 days after Botox
Inner Eyelid Drop (Ptosis) after Botox
Aug 15, 2017
Hello Alana. There are a few factors that can lead to dropping of the inner eye lid after botox to the glabella (for the angry 11's / frown lines). The nerve that enables you to open your upper eyelid is located just under your eyebrow...this distance is different on different people, depending on your structure, how deeply your eyes are set, etc. Generally, we try to avoid injecting less than 1 cm above the brow bone, as botox can trickle down and affect that nerve, thereby reducing...

Solutions for wrinkles around the eyes
Jul 12, 2017
You will continue to age, so there is no permanent solution for wrinkles...just treatment and prevention. Wrinkles around the eyes are due to movement of the muscles of expression, so any of the neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport) would be appropriate to relax the muscles, and prevent future wrinkles. The effects of these medications is around 3 - 4 months, so you will need to repeat treatments to keep the wrinkles at bay.
Once these muscles are relaxed, it does give your body...

Acne Scar Treatment in Fitz IV
Jul 12, 2017
It appears you have a mixture of acne scar types, including deeper ice pick scars (which are usually treated with subcision), rolling and boxcar scars. I'd recommend the CO2 fractional laser, with PRP, as the proper laser will be safe on your skin type, which can develop darkening (hyperpigmentation) with lasers that create too much heat in the process (i.e., the Fraxel, which is not a CO2). The CO2 and subcision will accomplish the most results with the fewest treatments. Chemical peels and...
