If your goal is to reduce the swelling to negligible asap, I would recommend extending the period of time the compression garment is worn and continue to cool the treated site. Comfort or tolerability of the Fractora treatment is extremely technique dependent. Done correctly, my patients have little to no discomfort. It involves a topical numbing cream, stretching of the skin and adequate pressure when applying the treatment tip. I also inject lidocaine under the skin.
