Hi,
Thanks for your question! I personally have no problem administering Botox and fillers at the same visit, and in fact feel that both are needed to achieve a harmonious result. For patients who have never had any injectables done, I may give them the option of doing one treatment at a time, just to make the experience less overwhelming.

Thanks for your question alanka49! You are a great candidate for lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid filler. An experienced physician will be able to achieve natural looking results without giving you the dreaded “duck lip” look. Since filler is relatively painless with minimal downtime, I would suggest starting with that first, and see what you think before considering a lip lift.

Thanks for your question. Since I have not done an in-person examination, it is difficult to ascertain exactly the cause of your complication. However, from my experience your symptoms indicate a vascular occlusion, meaning some of the filler material either compressed or blocked one or more blood vessels in the nose. Although rare, this type of adverse event can lead to permanent scarring. I would caution you against getting any more filler in the nose….

Thanks for your question. As the other physicians above had mentioned, a combination of Botox and filler would be the best overall treatment to improve the appearance of your chin. However, if you are on a tight budget, Botox alone is a good option. This will last 3-4 months, and your allergy to epinephrine should not be an issue. I understand the importance of looking good in order to feel good, consider it a small investment in self-improvement!

Thanks for your question! It’s a bit difficult to evaluate without more photos, but from what I can see, you may be a good candidate for an injectable rhinoplasty, or “liquid nose job”. A skilled physician can precisely place a filler, (for example Voluma or Juvederm Ultra Plus), into the columella, which is the fleshy part of your septum.
