Microneedling with Radiofrequency
Nov 27, 2023
Nov 27, 2023
Hello!
That's a good start with microneedling + PRP, however, another good non-surgical method would be trying microneedling with radiofrequency (example being Morpheus8). You would likely need three session, 1 month apart. This therapy tightens skin and to a lesser degree might even decrease the size of the three fat pads below your eyes (we all have them anatomically speaking) by zapping a little of the fat. The procedure can be painful depending on the intensity or protocol used with the...

Would Botox help get rid of a horizontal wrinkle between my eyes?
Horizontal Wrinkle b/w your eyes

Hi there,
If the wrinkle you're talking about occurs when you are animating your face (ie. furrowing your eyebrows or raising them), then yes there's a good chance some toxin (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Jeaveau, etc) will help temporarily address the problem (3-6 months).

What procedure would help? I'm likely too young for a facelift
Microneedling with Radiofrequency

Hello there! A great option for you would be microneedling with radiofrequency (for example Morpheus8).
This is a handheld device that uses many tiny needles and radiofrequency waves on your skin to help create a form of controlled skin injury. The damage stimulates growth of healthy new skin and promotes some collagen formation to restore volume. This can help with not only skin laxity, but fine wrinkles and even some acne. Normally, a patient may receive three treatments, either under...

Asymmetrical swelling (?) 5 months post rhinoplasty
Nasal tip

Hi there,
Nasal tip swelling can take a year to resolve, however, I do agree with you (at least from what your picture shows) - that your nasal tip is bulbous. For better assessment I would try sharing some pictures with clear lighting against a solid background (frontal, profile and oblique) for starters. Perhaps this way we can better visualize what's going on!

Weird swelling at top of nose - 1 year post op - swelling or cartilage?
Tip Swelling or Not

Hello there,
The first question that comes to mind is when did you notice this swelling start to take place? Any trauma, infection or injectable treatments performed to the nose recently? Were any grafts or implants placed in your nose that you are aware of? Tip swelling can take up to a year to resolve, however, your nasal tip appears somewhat bulbous for your face for being one year out. Did you nasal tip look like this at 1-2 months post-op or was it more defined? Help answer some of...

Is it possible to move the nostrils up and forward from the side?
.Yes.

Hello there,
The short answer is yes. However, what would really be happening is that your entire nasal tip and the way its projected would be repositioned such that your nostril wouldn't 'show' as much. The reason you have a lot of show right now is because you have a pretty acute nasolabial angle. What does that mean? Basically, the angle formed by your upper lip and nasal base is your nasiolabial angle. If we were to generalize, and keep in mind this is not true for all...

Hi Joann,
Your nose looks improved, however, to me it seems you have a little bit of a dorsal hump left and your nose is slightly over-rotated, but your nose looks relatively symmetrical. There are always little asymmetries in people's noses, but that's what makes a nose look natural in my opinion. It's when we have large asymmetries that everyone can easily identify that we might consider elective surgery. If you have any questions, please let me know!
