It is possible that the area will self correct but even if it doesn’t, once the swelling is gone at around 2-3 months, a small revision in the office can be done to join any small separation that may remain. Nothing like the downtime of original surgery. Dr. N

PicoSure vs Fraxel Laser: which laser goes deeper under the skin?

I would be hesitant to use Fraxel on Brown skin. That is why I acquired the Picosure device. On brown skin with pigment issues, it’s not about how deep you go. It’s about treating the pigment without causing worse hyperpigmentation. I would feel very confident to treat your skin with Picosure. I would hesitate with Fraxel.Dr. N

Great question!You are still in the early stages of the recovery process and will need to be patient at this point. I would say that anywhere between 6 months and 12 months is when you will experience final results, softening, and relaxing of the breast.Dr. N

I would recommend a breast lift with fat transfer to the top of the breasts. The breast lift will still leave you empty at the upper portion. The fat injection will help fill that out without implants.

I would probably use some smooth implants on you alone. I would save a lift for when your really need it. Especially, with darker skin types, the scarring is unpredictable with the lift.

If there is nothing wrong with your implants and you are happy with the size, then it is possible to perform a lift and keep your implants. I would order new ones as a surgeon just in case any trauma occurred to the implants during the lift surgery and just return them if they were not needed.Dr. Sheila

There are nuances to breast surgery that can only be fleshed out during your consultation. Sometimes, a smooth implant can be placed and a lift can be avoided. Other times, depending on your desired final outcome, a lift and implant is necessary.

I would highly discourage applying a TCA peel at home without consulting with your Doctor or licensed practitioner. TCA is not ideal for all skin types and cause adverse side effects such as hyperpigmentation. Good Luck!
