Thanks for your question.Generally by 3 months you are 70-80% healed (both inside and out). The remaining 20% will take up to 18 months for the scar tissue to mature. This may be further delayed for up to 2 years or more if you have diabetes, hypertension, immunocompromised or a smoker etc.Hope this helps.

Thanks for your question.If your implants feel soft and you have no pain nor distortion of the implants, then it’s unlikeley that you have capsular contracture. It appears from the photo that you may have a ‘keel-shaped’ chest which determines the way the breast lie on your chest ie. sitting out to the sides. Also, there may have been some stretching of the skin from the nipple to the breast fold, thus making the nipple point upwards. Further surgery by removing this ‘excess skin’ in the way…
Could physical force and falling cause implant to rupture?

Thank you for your question. It depends on your description of what ‘became quite physical’ means because it does take some force to rupture an implant. Thanks for your question. In view of your age, you would have good quality skin and liposuction may be quite unforgiving in this region ie. may lead to indentations or corrugations in the skin. I would suggest you consider CoolSculpting by Zeltiq which is an alternative to liposuction but does not require surgery, anaesthesia, downtime and is painless. It has the added advantage of potentially skin shrinkage which would be very beneficial in obtaining a “box gap” to the inner thigh.

Thanks for your question. By definition, you do not have symmastia where the breast implants “kiss” each other in the midline of the chest to form the “figure-of-eight’ or “bread loaf” sign. If your breasts were close together before the breast augmentation, then they will also be close together after the operation. You are also still quite swollen especially in the upper poles of the breasts but this will settle in due course over the next 6-12 weeks. Good luck with it all.

Post-op Wound Healing Problem

Thanks for your question. From looking at your photos, it would appear that you have the onset of a wound infection or wound healing problem. The first thing to do is see your plastic surgeon who may either place you on a course of oral antibiotics or even admit you into hospital for intravenous antibiotics for a few days. An ultrasound to the breast to exclude an underlying fluid collection (either seroma or blood) may also be warranted. Hope it all goes well for you.
