40 year old woman bothered by her nasolabial fold depth, more pronounced along the base of her nose. Her clinical exam is notable for underlying bony periapical hypoplasia, which we discussed treating with a longer lasting filler placed deep to re-establish volume in the region. For deeper injections, meant to address bony hypoplasia or volume loss, I like to use Voluma placed in a subperiosteal plane. The results and effect of this filler are immediately noticeable, and will continue to improve over the next few days as more water is drawn towards HA filler.
