Raised asymmetrical mole removal. What is the best method to do this with minimal scarring? (Phot
Mole removal
Jul 4, 2017
It is hard to tell for sure without testing it if this mole is dangerous. Sometimes the fact of a mole becoming raised is just a normal process that happens when someone matures from childhood to adulthood, but sometimes it can be a sign of a more worrisome change or malignancy. I would recommend removal with a small excision that would be in line with the fold you naturally have when you smile. The location appears generally ideal for lining it up in that natural crease.

Lip filler vascular injection
Apr 9, 2017
Vascular injection can and does happen on rare occasion even with good injection technique. It does sound like she did the right thing using massage and heat to bring blood flow back to the area. It's also helpful to have a reversal agent available called hyaluronidase. This can be used if Juvederm is inadvertently injected into a vessel especially if massage and heat don't work.
Check laws for esthetician injection in your state. These laws vary from state to state. In any...

Compensatory Sweating Extremely Rare-Not Likely to Happen.
Nov 3, 2016
What you describe, where increased sweating occurs in other parts of the body after sweat glands are destroyed in one area, is called compensatory sweating. With MiraDry there have been only extremely rare reports of this happening. In our practice we have done over 100 MiraDry treatments and have not had this occur with any of our patients.

From your post I was not sure which photos were before and which were after. The ones in the white shirt look slightly fuller to me although the angle is slightly sideways. The before and after photos always have to be at the same angle and with your neck in the same neutral position.

If the ones in the white shirt are "after" photos, my next question is how long it has been since your last treatment. When the fat cells lyse they do cause inflammatory cells to come...

Botox in eye
Dec 22, 2015
I do not think this is going to harm you. We had this happen once during a training session and our patient was fine. Certainly the dose of Botox even if you absorbed the entire drop or two (or more)should be lower than a dose that would cause harm since the nurse probably only had a reasonable dose drawn up to administer. As to whether the headache is related I am uncertain.

Inflamed Nevi
Dec 5, 2015
The truth is that any doctor cannot be 100% sure a mole is benign without a biopsy. However, a doctor with plenty of experience with skin lesions can usually say with reasonable certainty whether a mole is concerning enough to need a biopsy. If you still have redness in the area of previous removal and previous infection, make sure that you are not still using something you may be allergic to such as Neosporin. Many antibiotic ointments containing neomycin are highly allergenic. You...

New skin lesion
Sep 18, 2015
I would favor something inflammatory like eczema or contact dermatitis since a skin cancer that large would not likely just pop up overnight. You could try treating with some over the counter hydrocortisone cream for one to two weeks. If not responding or if it recurs right away you need to be seen by a doctor.
