25cc is not even one ounce of fluid and the width is different by one millimeter. These differences are miniscule. As surgeons we need to be better about explaining this. Honestly, you need to trust your surgeon, they should guide you toward the appropriate size RANGE. Good luck, Jane

I would assume that you are having a laparoscopic procedure, which pumps air into your abdomen to see the tumor in question. I personally would not do a tummy tuck that soon after your biopsy. Discuss with your plastic surgeon ASAP. Good luck, Jane.

Augmentation with implant

I think you are going to need a lift of mastopexy with an implant. I personally think you have enough breast tissue and thick enough skin that you will not see much difference in saline vs silicone. I have been practicing for 25 years. The longer I do this-the more inclined I am to do saline. They are less expensive and easier to deal with when they leak. Good luck, Jane

It is too early to assess your final results. Swelling lasts at least 8 weeks and sometimes longer. I would not consider revision yet. I would wait 4 months on a decision and would not recommend revisionary surgery for at least 6 months. Good luck, Jane

In my opinion you need a mastopexy (breast lift), this is never scarless, there is no scarless breast lift. A periareolar lift won't be enough and still leaves scars. I personally would try to discourage you from an implant, I think the long term results would be recurrence of the droop. If you do proceed with augmentation please see a surgeon who has experience with augmenting large breasts and can show you photos of results that would be similar to yours. Good luck, Jane.

When a surgeon is doing a breast reduction the most important steps in the operating room are to make sure that the tissue you leave behind has enough blood supply to heal. Wound healing and nipple blood supply are crucial to a good result. So resecting too much tissue can thin the skin that we leave behind and then it can necrose or die. Same with the nipple .

That being said I hate promising a cup size, find a surgeon who can show you photos of someone similar in size to you and see...

Can I exercise after getting saline implant drained?

Discuss with your surgeon, but, deflation is a simple needle stick. I personally tell patients to wear a fairly snug sports bra for 3 weeks or so, but activity is not restricted in most cases. Good luck, Jane.

Usually implants have dropped and loosened by 6 months, but, in rare cases it can take a little longer. I would definitely talk to your surgeon about the possibility of a revision. Breast augmentation and breast lift are always considered cosmetic. Your breasts don't look very good but they don't cause back pain or any other medical sequelae. Even with your extraordinarily large implants the problem is, you chose to do that to your body. I am sorry that someone did not advise you to stay with smaller implants to begin with. And, 8,000 for a breast lift in your case is a very reasonable price. I am sorry fo the situation you are in, but try to choose a surgeon Board...

1000 gm is a little over 2 pounds of tissue per breast, while that is a large breast reduction it is not unusual to remove that amount or more. For a woman of average height and weight you will probably be about 4 cup sizes smaller. Ask your surgeon to see pre and post op photos of patients with similar sized breast reductions. Submental liposuction is a good procedure in patients who have localized fat and good skin elasticity. We can suction fat easily, it's what happens to the skin after the procedure that is less predictable. Unfortunately, you look like you now have loose skin and will probably require a facelift with special attention to the neck or you can call it a necklift (semantics). Good luck, Jane.

Congratulations, and as the mother of twin daughters, good luck! It's a wild ride. You should be fine, but make sure your OBGYN knows about your previous surgery. It would be helpful if they knew if you had muscle plication. But, twins always put you in the "high risk pregnancy" category and you are very petite, so be prepared your OB will probably refer you to a perinatologist. Good luck, and yes, try to relax. Jane.

The problem with doing a lift and implant is that the lift is tightening your skin and the implant will tend to stretch it back out. It's Physics 101-opposing forces. So, 475 is a generous implant. It is difficult to judge without photos, but on most people that will bring you up 2 plus cup sizes. Bigger is not always better, especially when you need a mastopexy. No one is on "Botched" because they are too small, good luck, Jane.
