If you are breathing and swallowing ok, don’t worry about the tightness. It needs to be tight in the first few weeks after surgery, since it will loosen a bit with time. Your neck looks great from the photos, so follow up with your surgeon and be patient. It is common that patients experience some depression in the first week following surgery, as it is often more than you were expecting. Be patient and you should feel better as the days progress.

You have excess skin with a little excess fat and possibly muscle laxity in the neck. In patients with thicker skin and more fat, laser or Vaser liposuction can improve the neck. However, it appears that you have enough skin laxity that a neck lift is required. If limited to the neck, this can be done with a small incision under the chin and behind both ears.

You should know that no one is perfectly symmetrical, as the face forms in vertical halves. Your eyes are very attractive. From the first view it looks as though you might have ptosis of the upper lids which can be fixed by an oculoplastic surgeon. Be wary of having cosmetic surgery at a young age to achieve perfect symmetry as that is usually not possible.
