What type of surgery do I need to fix the tip of my nose?
Great candidate for rhinoplasty!
Nov 29, 2023
Hi there,
I specialize in rhinoplasty and based on the photos you would be a great candidate for an open septorhinoplasty. Your nasal tip is underrotated and underprojected so I would use some of your septum cartilage to help bring the tip out and give you a more balanced appearance to the nose. If interested in discussing more please visit my website and I’d be happy to see you for a virtual or in person consultation to discuss options and steps!
Would I be a good candidate for upper and lower blepharoplasty?
Great candidate
Nov 29, 2023
Hi,
Based on the photos I think you would be a great candidate for an upper eyelid bleph and a lower bleph as well. Since you’re young and have nice skin quality the results will be even better and the lower lid can be done through the inner eyelid to make a scarless approach. I think it would really help you feel and look more refreshed and youthful. Would be happy to see you for a consultation!
Closed Rhinoplasty to deproject/ reduce length of a long ethnic nose?
Limited incision, limited result

Based on the photos I would not reccomend the closed approach for you. I have a great deal of experience with this type of nasal anatomy and it would be almost impossible to get a well defined tip and a controlled result with just a closed approach. Your nasal tip would need both deprojection and increased rotation and doing this through a closed incision would limit precision and likely result in an unsatisfactory cosmetic outcome. Would definitely reccomend and open approach. if you’re w…
Swelling 2+ years after septorhinoplasty
Should be checked in person
Nov 29, 2023
Hi, although it’s hard to say without photos or knowing the exact technique used in the procedure, it would be very rare to have continued swelling over 2 years later. There is going to be general fluctuation in skin thickness based on salt intake, hydration etc but post operative swelling would be fully resolved by 2 years. The only thing to consider is if any foreign material (implants, plates, screws) were used you’ll want to be seen to evaluate for an underlying inflammatory or inf…
