How Much Does Botox Cost?
Botox costs vary
Apr 27, 2016
Anywhere from $10 to $15 per unit is reasonable depending on your geographic area.Be wary of bargain basement pricing as this can mean the injections are not being done by a trained professional!
I want to raise droopy brows/lids. How much Botox is needed, and where?
You are in luck!
Apr 27, 2016
These issues are simple to fix with a skilled provider.  It is not a “cut and paste” type of treatment.  Because your issues are asymmetric, the injections must also be.  Brow lift can be achieved by placing injections higher than “usual”.  To have one side lower than the other, the Botox should be placed farther to the side (lateral) on the side you want lower.  It should be placed closer to the center of your face (medial) on the side that needs to be higher.  In my hands, treating the b…
Possible to Remove a Tattoo Through Excision?
Serial excisions are best for large tattoos
Nov 9, 2011
Grafting has inherent risks on its own. I prefer serial excision for large tattoos, which removes the need for skin grafting completely. Excision is the only way to completely remove a tattoo which is the goal for many people. Of course the down side is a scar which you would have to be willing to accept to go this route. Hope this helps!
Excision to Remove a Tattoo?
Small tattoos respond well to surgery
Nov 9, 2011
Yes, this is a great option for a small tatttoo of the wrist. There is extra skin there and as long as you are willing to accept a scar in place of the tattoo, you should be very happy with the results.
Can an Excision Be Done on the Finger?
Excellent Results
Nov 9, 2011
Finger tattoos can be especially troubling. Generally they are small, however, and when this is the case, the results of surgical excision can be very good! This is one of my favorite areas to surgically remove tattoos because they tend to heal well and have a huge positive impact on a patient's life.
Glycolic Vs. Salicylic Acid – Which Peel is Better for Acne?
SAHA Peels
Nov 9, 2011
While almost all peels help with acne, depending on the type, I have to say that I have wonderful results from SAHA peels for my patients with acne. The other nice thing is that there's very little, if any, down time, very little risk and they are sometimes even covered by insurance.
How to Treat Butt Pimples?
Oral medications are best
Nov 9, 2011
While topical medications can help, oral (pill) medications are best because they treat this problem deep in the skin where it starts. Antibiotics that are anti-inflammatory are the best types because they help the two main causes of this very frustrating problem. Hope this helps!
