Statement: I have a passion for helping patients look and feel their best, and this is what initially drove me to the field of Facial Plastic Surgery. I always strive to provide a comfortable and collaborative experience for every individual patient, combining personal attentive care with flawless results. My philosophy is to deliver natural and balanced results, while achieving each individual’s unique aesthetic goals.

I continue to be actively involved in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery research, co-authoring several journal publications, book chapters, and am an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Outside of my academic endeavors and clinical practice, I have been involved with humanitarian work around the world, with my most recent trip to Guatemala to help children with nasal deformities associated with cleft lip and palates. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and eating good food.

Biography: Sharon is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with over 30 years of experience. Sharon started her medical career as a Registered Nurse and then continued on with her education to become a Physician Assistant.
As a Physician Assistant, Sharon has experience in various specialty areas of medicine and surgery. She spent many years as the Chief PA of a large cardiac surgery group in Reading, Pennsylvania. Sharon was also the Chief Physician Assistant of the cardiac surgery / cardiac transplant team at the prestigious Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Sharon transitioned to the field of dermatology in 1997, and has worked with cutting- edge Dermatologists and Dermatologic Surgeons in both California and Florida.

Sharon joined the Facial Aesthetic Concepts team in 2003 where she has been specializing in dermatology and aesthetic dermatology. Sharon’s broad clinical background and knowledge enables her to be an intricate part of Facial Aesthetic Concepts.

Biography: Haven Morehead has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years. Born and raised in Orange County, she attended Golden West College where she graduated with her Degree in Nursing. Haven has a passion for education and is currently completing her Capstone project for a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She began her career as a surgical nurse in facial plastic surgery and later completed a specialty in advanced wound care and became a Certified Wound Care Nurse. Her love for skin care led her to the Aesthetic side of nursing where she plans to stay.

Haven has advanced training in administering injectables and performing skin rejuvenating treatments. Haven is certified in administration of neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport). In addition, she is certified in CoolSculpting, microneedling and a variety of laser therapies including resurfacing treatments, IPL, and dynamic treatments such as microneedling with radio frequency.

Biography: Nadia is a Board Certified Medical Esthetician who has always had a passion for skin care. her journey began at The University of California of San Marcos where she was studying bio-chemistry. After studying the anatomy and changes of the skin, Nadia realized she wanted to pursue a career that allowed her to help teach and develop ways for her patients to transform their skin. Nadia studied her aesthetics course at Salon Success Academy in Corona, California, where she mastered skin analysis, European facial techniques, body waxing, chemical peels, and electric modalities. Nadia was awarded a Certification of Excellence from the Dermal Institute.

Biography: Mary has been in the skin care industry over 10 years. She is a Board Certified Medical Aesthetician, Licensed Permanent Make-up Artist Specializing in CIT/Microneedling, and is certified in Coolsculpting, Microdermabrasion, Chemical Exfoliation, Facial & Body Waxing, Eclectic Modalities. Starting out as a front desk manager she wanted to do more to help patients and to do that she had to move from behind the desk and work in the treatment room.

Biography: Our Surgical Patient Coordinator, Teresa, was always intrigued with the health of the skin, skin care regimens, and products. Upon establishing this love for skin care, Teresa went to Paul Mitchell Skin Academy where she became Board Certified as an Esthetician in 2008.
Teresa also became certified to be an Esthetics Instructor at the Paul Mitchell School for 6 years through training at the International Dermal Institute. All the while working outside as an Esthetician performing a multitude of facial and body treatments.
Teresa has been at FAC for a little over 2 years now and is our Surgical Coordinator for Dr. Gangnes and Dr. Cuber. She assists our surgical patients in every way through their journey of having their surgeries. Teresa has a passion for helping others and truly embraces each and every patient that she meets with.
