Is it safe to use retinol or vitamin C serum after Derma Rolling?

Thank you for your question. Usually because these products are acidic if you apply them after a derma roller treatment they will give you a burning sensation and the retinol can burn your skin easier. I would wait 12-24 hours before applying these products.

Would Derma Rolling improve fine lines and acne scars?

Thank you for your question. Microneedling is a great way of making your body produce collagen which in turn will improve fine lines and acne scars. Typically for 'at home' treatments the dermaroller is only 1-2 mm deep and is not very painful. Some dermarollers that are used in a medical clinic setting with topical anesthesia can be deeper for a more intense treatment.

Do botox in the masseter muscle stay permanent?

Thank you for your question. If you maintain the treatments then the effects that you get from your masseter treatments will be upheld but once you stop the treatments, your muscles will strengthen again and you will go back to a sore jaw & clenching.

Botox, fillers or microneedling?

Thank you for your questions. I would suggest that if you want to improve and do a pro-active treatment that you look in to microneedling. This treatment will induce collegen production and preserve elasticity. I would not suggest adding any volume or treating lines with botox to your face as you are young and don't need these treatments at this time.

Thank you for your question. It sounds like there were too many units injected but you should clarify with the injector what areas were treated. In my office 21-30 units is standard for treating a frown area (depending on the patient). As for the forehead there are many areas that can be treated to alleviate lines and lift the brows. Unfortunately these effects will need time to wear off on their own.

My lips are uneven after masseter Botox. What options do I have?

Thank you for your questions. Unfortunately after your masseters were treated with the neurotoxin, a muscle that controls your smile was effected. This is something that you need to wait for to go away on its' own. This issue can resolve anywhere between 2 weeks- 3 months.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Based off your photo and what your concerns are, I would say that you are a great candidate for botox in your forehead. Everyone ages differently so there is no perfect time to startro wait for botox. I would suggest between 6-8 units for your forehead to start and then if you desire less movement then you can add units of botox afterwards.
